I cannot seem to get everything accomplished! I think I need to take things in shorter intervals. Today is grocery shopping day, so I'll be driving an hour there and back. The prices are worth it and the drive is nice, when I get to go alone.
It's almost time to go get DD from school, so I have to get the other two ready.
I managed to plan out the grocery list for the next two weeks, including Thanksgiving, so everything seems to be coming together. I just wish I could get my house to reflect the organization I have in my head. One day at a time and I know I'll get there eventually.

Our dinner was divine! I am so glad my DH was there to help with portion control.
We live further away from water than we ever have before, so really good seafood has been hard to find. The last time we went shopping in the 'city' our mouths watered over the trout in the fresh seafood section and we could not resist buying a pound. My husband was even willing to put back his steak for it!
Tonight, we had Premsan trout. I could not find a recipe that that fit the flavor I knew I wanted. I did not want to overpower the trout but I knew I wanted the parmesan, so here is what we used.
1.3 lbs Trout
1/4 C Parmesan
1/4 C Plain Bread Crumbs
Shake of Italian seasoning
Shake of Garlic Salt
Lime
Olive Oil
I put the whole thing in my largest glass baking dish, sprayed with Pam. I squeezed the lime all over the Trout, then mixed up the next 4 ingredients and coated the trout with them. Next, I drizzled olive oil on top of the parmesan mixture and then lightly spayed it with Pam again (just to make sure everything held together well. I cooked it at about 425 for 25 minutes. (We started checking it every 5 minutes after 15 minutes to see if it pulled apart easily.)
I cooked it with the potatoes and the brocoli, so that added to the cook time slightly.
All together we had seasoned potatoes, roasted broccoli, homemade sourdough bread and homemade marinara for the bread. I made the marinara yesterday and the bread ealry this afternoon.
My kids and DH decided it was a fancy meal. So DH put everything onto serving dishes , while DD tok out the candles and helped put the table cloth on the table. Then she set the table while we brought the food out. It was perfect. My kids even behaved really well. My youngest managed to sit at the table most of the meal and I even hear a couple of yes ma'ams from my daughters!
Perfect day. Perfect dinner. Thank you Lord!

My brother and his wife live in Virginia and they are expecting their first baby! This is the namesake baby (you know, I, II, III, IV. He'll be the V.) So it's a pretty big deal, but most of us are in Texas, with a few in other states and countries but nobody else is close to Virginia. We weren't sure what to do for them.
After some research, we set up a virtual baby shower! It is pretty interesting. We posted the 3d sonogram pictures, added a guest book for new parent advice, posted pictures of gifts they have received so far, and even added fun polls such as, "How much do you think the baby will weigh?" and "How big around do you think Tommy's belly is now that his wife is pregnant?"
The baby shower is today. Since it's virtual, we didn't set a time and just figured we'd let everyone log in when they could and then we'd post the poll answers tonight. I hope it works out well.

I keep forgetting to log in at night to finish getting my points. I'm going to have to try to get as many of them as possible in the morning. I tracked everything I was eating yesterday with the intent of writing it down and just never quite got to it. I should have done that in the morning. Today, I don't have everything planned out as well because we have not decided where we are going to eat yet for date night. It's been a good week but slightly hectic for some reason. I haven't been able to plan as well as normal. I don't know if the not planning has led to the hectic week or vice versa.
I'm not going to get all my points done this morning, either. I need to go exercise now so we can go see DD at the school for her Veteran's Day program. Hopefully, I'll remember to log in this afternoon!
So much to do today:
1) 2 hours Cardio
2) Veteran's Day program
3) Clean bedrooms
4) Quick clean living room and kitchen
5) Log in to SP
6) Clean bathroom
7) Date Night
