Planning to Eat Unhealthy Today

Today is one of those days where I know I'll be eating unhealthy but I'm planning for it! My favorite pizza is Domino's because I love their hand-tossed crust with that garlic flavoring on it. Luckily, we don't have a Domino's in my town and my second favorite pizza is my homemade pizza.
Ttonight we are going out of town and I'm planning on picking up a Domino's pizza for dinner! Planning! That's the important part for me! I've already added it to my tracker along with a coke. I had oatmeal for breakfast and will be having a spinach salad for lunch with lots of spinach, so I'll be able to have my pizza and coke and stay within my calorie range! Yay! I know better than to try that all the time but it's nice to know that I can do it sometimes!

WooHoo! Stationary Bike at Highest Resistance!

My stationary bike is fairly simple but it is one of my favorite forms of exercise. I've been slowly working myself up on the resistance, trying to maintain 12 miles in an hour. For the last two weeks, I've had to cycle between 9 & 10. Today, I was able to keep it at 10 for the entire hour and met my 12mph!! If I can keep that up next week, I'll have to find another way to challenge myself!

I forget how busy things can get at the beginning of the school year. I'm already looking forward to that time in the summer when we have no obligations. We had one girl at ballet today and then an hour before a parent meeting at the church. I took the kids to eat during that hour. They wanted hamburgers and I don't really like hamburgers, so I didn't eat. I figured I'd eat something a bit healthier once we got home. By the time we got home, bathed the kids and put themin bed. I was too tired to eat. I just didn't want anything but I looked at my tracker and knew that I HAD to have something.
I was just stuck in some mental place where nothing sounded good and everything seemed like too much work. After getting my daughter's lunch ready for tomorrow, I finally decided on tuna and crackers. It still didn't come close to my minimum calorie range for today, but at least I was feeling much better by the time I finished them off, so I decided to make a healthy dessert. I mixed up a cup of fat free cool whip and a tablespoon of unsweetened Hershey's cocoa powder. It was delicious and brought me to my minimum.
Most days I'm trying not to overdo it on calories, so days like today are really interesting. I much prefer having to eat more than having to eat less! ;)

I got caught up in reading things that were totally unrelated to health or anything useful, in fact, but they were highly entertaining, so now I am trying to rush through my blog and reading my articles!

I stayed withing my Nutritional guidelines but I couldn't go a whole day without sweets! Ah well, I'll try again. I will be able to do it one day.

I did all of my exercise, Plus an Extra Strength Training exercise!! emoticon
1 hour on the bike
30 minutes on the Gazelle
30 minutes of step
the Wii fit Challenge
3 Strength Training Exercises

I read all of my articles and checked in with all of my teams. Now it's time for bed so I can get a good night's sleep and start over again in the morning!
