Here I go again!

So my hard work is starting to pay off. I am getting interviews trickling in and I have been certified for only 5 weeks! The excitement is starting to build. So many ideas as well that i have to keep jotting down....

I have completed my Nutrition and Wellness Specialist and i have my test in three weeks. it feels good to have all this information...EMPOWERED is the word that I am looking for. I enjoy helping people and if i can still hang with the family, then it was soooo worth it...

More training is coming thou...school is not over for me...Next month i am taking my Fitness Instructor course and I want to learn how to teach ZUMBA!

I have been home for Six years now with the kiddies and my youngest will be starting Grade 1 in September...Which leave me at home...man wouldn't that be wonderful??? But hubby has other plans for me...he decided to "kick me out", not physically, but he insists that it is time to get a job...OH DEAR LORD! I thought that I had one...play with the kids, clean the house and watch GH...what more would I want to do????

However, he is insistent on me going back to work...but then at the same time, I am insistent on my NOT going back to an office environment...so I did something for myself...Something that i have wanted to do for years now...i went back to school...and get this...I have become a Certified Personal Trainer! No office for me...i get to go back to work at a GYM!!! How AWESOME is that?

So time to get the resumes out!

    Hey Lori,

Thanx for stopping by. To become a PT it is all body related and muscle related, you have to know what attaches to what and so on and so forth! it was worth it though. I just finished my course on Nutrition and Wellness and I have my test on October 3rd and then after that I will be doing a course for Fitness Instructor (November 5th I start) and then I have my test on December 4.

I have applied at SOOOOO many places and i finally got a call for a gym close by, so on Thursday I went for my interview and they called that night to request a second interview and that is this afternoon.

I am also in the middle of taking a bootcamp course (as you know from FB), so that is something that I want to continue and do myself!

Yoga, pilates and stability ball are on my hit list to complete, as well as pre and post natal!

You should SOOOO do Yoga, it is AWESOME to get out there and do something for yourself and something that you love!

SO...have you gotten a job? What did you have to do to become a personal trainer? I'm thinking about becoming a yoga instructor.

I can do it if i put my mind to it! It was a really good weekend, on Saturday, i did 1hr45min on the treadmill and I ran 30 minutes. Still feeling kinda crappy from teh flu, but i did it!

Today i did 90 minutes on the treadmill. Sundays are my take it easy day so i walked at 3.7mph in stead of trying to run.

But not only the exercise worked, but I ate properly as well. I watched my intake and I made sure that I logged every morsel that passed thru my lips.

This week should be a little tougher, it is March Break for the kids, but my plan and intentions are to STAY ON TRACK!

I have been re-couping from the flu and getting better everyday. i am still getting ont he treadmill everyday for approximately 90 minutes. My goal - by Monday to start jogging again!

I cannot wait for more of this beautiful weather so that i can start jogging outside...Nothing better than the outdoors and the wind on your face!

I am still tracking my food and measuring it as well!

I'm putting myself out there...

Still feeling sick with the flu, but that is not going to stop me from getting ME accomplished! I still got up this morning, and even though i could not run, i walked at 3.5 mph on the treadmill for 50 minutes (watched Lost Season 2).

I ate a healthy breakfast consisting of cheerios and milk (all measured), put the kids on the bus and off to work I went!

Came home, at a healthy lunch instead of picking up fast food and soon, i will get on the treadmill again - more so cause i need to know about that biatch Anna Lucia from Lost who just shot Shannon!

So far, my steps are at 12000...

I'm trying!

    you are awesome! I will admit that someitmes when I get sick I just let myself go but you are doing great! I am motivated to do the same when I get sick again. Hope you get better soon!
