So glad to have the new pedometer arrive this week! Need to get it set, but I'm so ready to get back to counting steps. This had been a major factor in me losing weight before I got to the current standstill that I'm in right now.

Just wanted to say that I'm really tired & dragging today. Wishing I'd just slide on down the scales faster, but know that I'm not consistent in some areas. That being said, I'm making progress in forming some habits. This just happens to be a day that I'd love to crawl back into bed & think about good sleep. I guess I only got about 4 hours good quality sleep last night, so there is reason for feeling like I do. Hmmmmmm . ...
God, I need you today big time!
Your mercies are new every morning ~ I'm claiming that today.

For some reason I'm into quotes today - I guess I need inspiration out of myself today.
Marvin Phillips: Weight Loss Inspiration Quotes
The difference between try and triumph is just a little umph!
Anthony Robbins: Weight Loss Inspiration Quotes
The higher your energy level, the more efficient your body. The more efficient your body, the better you feel and the more you will use your talent to produce outstanding results.
Martin Luther King, Jr.: Weight Loss Quotes
We must accept finite disappointment, but we must never lose infinite hope.
Harriet Beecher Stowe: Weight Loss Quotes
When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.
The time for action is now. It's never too late to do something.
Hoping that something here might inspire someone.

Just some rambling thoughts here.
The past few weeks have been such ups & downs. I've had to work at staying even with my emotions & thought-life. It's so easy to get discouraged, especially when grieving for different reasons.
One thing I have not done is really pigged out & let myself totally go. I would start a few times, but because of working on training my thought-life with Scripture & other inspirational sayings, I have been able to make a U-turn. Today is still such a process with negative thinking.
Then I see what team mates on GLOW & Oasis put on our Huddle Wall. That's so encouraging to see what different ones write there. Thank you Ladies, it truly means a lot. I'm in a daily battle - we all are. When we uphold & encourage each other, the load seem lighter.
Physically ~ Battling the same pounds the last few weeks. Up & down the same numbers. Now down again - need to go down more, instead of upward this time.
Focusing on routine of my whole day, especially in the morning is helping me to lose weight. Building in habitual healthy routines makes a huge difference for me. Simple things like fixing the water bottle as 1 of the first things I do & then take a few swallows immediately. Doing laundry in the morning for 2 or 3 10-Minute segments . . . .
When I'm out of sync like today, then it's hard to stay healthy. This is where Spark's "Unexpected Opportunity" comes in. I start to think of what I can do in a 10-Minute span. What can I do for 10 minutes that contributes to my health & my day.
Enough of rambling. Tomorrow I hope I can be up earlier yet to get my day going. Including exercise.

"Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves."
- Dale Carnegie
Do You Value the Small Tasks in Life?
Do you ever feel that you will never advance in your life or career and get that opportunity to do something BIG? Don't doubt the importance and impact on doing the smaller jobs in life! The key to this quote is being consistent--despite the level (or lack of) glamour or grandeur of your work. If you must scrub toilets, make them the shiniest, cleanest darn toilets on the block! In all things do the best you can, whether someone is looking or not. If you want to succeed in life, it is important that you have a strong foundation of consistent, hard work. Don't dodge the smaller tasks in an effort to hold out for the glamorous, important jobs. Put value in the small things and you'll reap a huge reward when you're put to the test!
Washing dishes at home, laundry . . . .
The small steps to become healthy . . . like eating 5 servings of fruits & veg per day, exercise and so forth.
