I got up early this morning, had lots going on but I managed 20 minutes of exercise before work. I really wanted to exercise when I got home (that was the plan all day) until I was so tired driving home I figured I would just settle for the a.m. routine.

I actually met ALL of my nutrition goals today. This is the first time I was in range for EVERYTHING. I was excited about that. I would be mega excited if I had managed to exercise this evening though. I am not going to beat myself up over it though, after all, I did SOME exercise today and tomorrow I am off so I can certainly make up for it then. LOL. My goal is 90 minutes tomorrow!!! I'm going to just crank up the tunes and go to it!

LOL... I am getting my performance review at work at 8:30 on Thursday morning. Yippee!
I had a good year so I am expecting a decent rating. Cross your fingers for me. LOL.

I hope you all are doing well and achieving your daily goals. I am thinking about you all the time, which is good because YOU keep me focused.

Well, I am beat so I am headed to bed within the next 10 minutes. Catch y'all later.

    Some days all the pieces fall into places and you can reach all your goals, other times...not so much. It's great to hear that you are not dwelling on not getting all exercise planned. You are moving on and have a plan for the next day.

This is something I need to learn to do....One missed workout or "bad" meal doesn't have to lead to days or weeks of them.

    emoticon on getting your exercise done in the morning!! :) that's awesome. i have no idea what the best time for me to hit the gym is... i guess i have pretty much sit down and decide when to do it and just do it!! :)

don't beat yourself up at all. you are doing GREAT! and at least you did manage to get some exercise in!!! :)

    Please don't beat yourself up about only one exercise time today, celebrate that you DID ONE! For me, that is way better and more than I would've been doing not so long ago.
I was planning on more exercise yesterday all day and didn't get it in, so today I got in more than expected. It all balances out. You are doing great on keeping focused and getting in all of your ranges today, so celebrate that as well!

Well, I missed my exercise this morning so I had to do it when I got home which made my dinner a late one. I don't like late dinners. But I am determined to exercise EVERYDAY!

I think I am going to try more snacks during the day so I can hit my calorie counts. It's tough though, I don't have tons of time during the day to kick back and snack. I need to find a solution to that so I am not getting most of my calories at night. Perhaps I should add a couple hundred to my breakfasts - they average 300-400 calories now. My lunch is always 300 calories so the rest is dinner and snacks.

I totally blew my personal goal of cleaning out and organizing my bedroom by February 1st. That is one thing I have NO motivation for. Everyday I walk in there and say I'm doing it, but it isn't happening. Go figure!

I have a really really long work day tomorrow. I have to go to another store and observe their procedures and help them fix their issues. Then I go to my store for lunch. Then I have a meeting at another store and that ends with a sale from 5-7pm. I'm looking at getting home at 9pm tomorrow and leaving the house no later than 6 am to get to work...

Thankfully these long days don't come around very often!

I think my hubby is starting to check out more of the SP site. I talk about it all the time and he is now tracking his food daily. He didn't enter all his info yet so he set his own calorie expectations for each day... he had it at 3500!!!!!!!! I told him that was wayyyyy to high and he needed to enter his weight and goal weight and when he wanted to reach it by so he could get a real expectation that will help him to achieve his goals.

He is getting there slowly but surely. He was playing around on the site while I was exercising. Yayyyyy. Having him aboard will help me AND him.

You are so awesome ! I know with your busy schedule it's so hard to accomplish even the smallest goal, I applaude your positive attitude. You are always giving praise and you deserve praise too. With the cleaning problem, little by little girl, if you can or save it for a rainy day ? Just a thought. Congratulations on hubby and the Sp site !! You are a great example ! Thank you for sharing. I know you will succeed in all that you do ! You go girl !

    wow..3500!!! that sure is a lot of cals... haha :) it's great that he's checking out the site.. i'm trying to get my husband to check it out too.. but he's taking his sweet little time.. haha :)

    emoticon It sounds like you are doing great, good on you for keeping your exercise committment. One suggestion on the cleaning/organizing, when I get overwhelmed by a big task (like the whole room) I set a smaller goal, today I will just do the closet or just the dresser, etc.

I must say, today is not going to be one of my active days on the site.

I got up, had a coffee, did 30 minutes of wii step, watched this movie called 'OBSESSED'. Wow, I gotta tell you, I couldn't tear myself away - so now I am behind on my 'TO DO' list.

I am headed out with hubby for a while (who has started tracking his food on sp now! woo hoo! I think it will be hit and miss for him for a while) groceries and that sort. Then I need to go to work for a few hours. It's an inventory thing on the last day of the month. Sooooo NOT exciting, especially since I need to drive into Boston to do it. I probably won't get home until after 9pm, which will give me time to log my food for the day and hit the hay.

Hope you all had an awesome week end and stuck to your plan. And if you didn't, that's ok too. Today is a new day and sooo is tomorrow! Live!

Things that make you go HMMMMM

I started off my day with 20 minutes of wii free step (I LOVE IT!) Ran around all day at work, and yes, ate healthy. Then hubby and I went to dinner at Longhorn's. I had the sierra chicken (YUMMY!!!) with broccoli (YUMMY!!) and water to drink. I was not even tempted as hubby sat across from me eating his chocolate thunder dessert (I was proud of him though, he had them package half of it right off the bat to take home since he knew I would NOT be sharing with him). It looked yummy, but, I am thankful that I am not a huge fan of sweets to begin with. I was quite proud of myself. I only had 1 piece of bread and nixed the rice with the meal and opted for more broccoli instead.

There was a time when I would have had an appetizer, an entire 1/2 loaf of bread AND dessert! I know my involvement with SP is keeping me focused and this is just one example of that. I was not even TEMPTED. How awesome is that?

Now, I am going to put my rhythm music, with a good stepping beat, on my ipod and hit the wii fit for my evening exercise session.

And get this. I can afford to have a snack later if I so choose!!! WAHOOO!!

    You are AWESOME! What a great victory that was! All of that means you were intentional about what you ate and that means you have gotten to where you are more in comtrol of your food. Doesn't that feel good. I know what you mean about how SP has gotten you there. I feel the same way.

Just did 48 minutes of wii free step and boxing (1 round of boxing, the rest was step) I got the nerve to set the time for 20 minutes at a time.... lol, my legs are now like rubber. I figured I'd give it a rest for a few and go back and do more. I like the free step, it is a consistent pace and builds metabolism. I could still hold a conversation (ok, so I was singing out loud and YES, NO ONE was around to hear me!) so I felt really good, albeit I was sweating at a good clip.

I like the aerobics the best so far. What is your favorite activities on wii fit? I'd love to know.

I'm off today - thinking I will go clean my car - I get depressed when I get in it... I feel like I live in there sometimes...

I don't think I am going to hit my goals for organizing my house. My first deadline is Feb 1st - and I have nooooooo motivation to get it done. Maybe it's because I know I should just toss a lot of things, cloths in particular, and I always think "what if I need it later?" I'm beginning to think I am a mini hoarder, just ever so slightly. Like cloths. I just hate to get rid of them, even though we donate to 'Good Will', I still have issues with it. Same thing with books and kitchen gadgets..... I just can't seem to GET RID OF STUFF!!!!

All my motivation is going into losing weight, but I need to round that out!!!! Ugh!!!
Yes, that is the sign of frustration.

    I know you're doing really well on your Wii, congratulations ! I love the Wii Sports and the Wii Fit Plus balance games, I'm hula hoop queen on my machine, lol. I even beat hubby ! The free step I upped to 30 min and did it ! So that felt really good. Like you I truly enjoy my Wii no matter what I'm doing on it. I'm like you with my fitness and my food intake take presidence over whatever I have in mind, except for my family of course.

Keep it up my friend you are truly making huge strides and I'm so very proud of you and happy for you ! Thank you for being an inspirational friend to me.

    I've been debating about buying a Wii Fit....is it worth it? My sister has one and loves it.
Good job with the working out!
Losing weight can be time consuming it's like a full-time job.

    I hear you on the motivation going into losing weight. I feel like it's a full-time job (one that I'm enjoying), and as I'm self-employed, it's tough to put my head down and edit.

The car goal is a great one. It's not too big a job (scared to go into our basement, right now), and it will make you feel great every time you get into it.
