gotta love wednesdays.. i love having the day off in the middle of the week. it rocks!
work 2 days, day off, work 3 days, day off -- doesn't even feel like i have a job sometimes. lol (DON'T TELL MY BOSS, PLEASE!)
so, i read that elliptical machines are the best cardio equipment to use. i also read that if you do interval training on them, you will continue to burn calories for up to 24 hours --- unlike other cardio equipment which only burns for something like a maximum of an hour after your workout.
also, strength training is mucho improtant!! if you strength train you build muscle and automatically burn more calories because, as we all know, more muscles = more calories burned.
so i did 40 minutes of interval on the elliptical today. it was tough while i was doing it, but afterwards the only after effect was wobbaly legs going down the stairs at the gym. lol...
then, i moved on to my strength training with the tricep press, squats on the leg machine, seated row, leg curl, leg extention, tricep press again, hip abduction in and hip abduction out.

have not missed a gym day in 8 days!! whooo hoooo !!! although 2 of the days i just did 30 minutes of elliptical and that was it. but, hey, i get mega points for dedication and perseverance, right. lol

PS... did i tell you guys i have 1 lousy lb to go until i hit 100 lbs lost? ONE!!! I am hoping tomorrow when i get up and weigh in i will be able to REJOICE and jump around and wake up the whole neighborhood. i'm so excited i can hardly wait for tomorrow to come.. i feel like it's christmas eve. lol... for my christmas present this year i want LESS than before... LESS OF ME that is!!
