today, after going a few days avoiding the ever humbling scale, i jumped on without reservation and much to my surprise ---- i was down 4.9 lbs. -- i'm calling it 5lbs.
that felt sooooo good. i don't think i've done anything different. i've lessened my treadmill intensity by lowering my speed and just keeping one steady pace for my whole hour. i think i've eaten more than i used to by about 200 calories a day. and once a week so far, i have done a 100 crunch session at the gym. that's all i can think of that i've done different.
i think my water country trip is postponed. hubby has to be 'on call' for work and it won't do anyone any good if he doen't have his phone on him... last i checked, phones were not waterproof! now i need to find somehthing else to do with my july 4th... hopefully something will pop up. especially since my gym is CLOSED!!! all i can say is my SPARK DVD CARDIO BLAST better show up by then! lol.
have any of you used that dvd? CARDIO BLAST? i'd like to know your opinions of it if you have used it. it says you can burn up to 600 calories and hour (for a 150lb person) what if you are a 260lb person, would you burn a lot more since it would be more exertion? i can't wait to try the cardio kick boxing, i watch the class at the gym and it looks like fun. i can't get there early enough to join the class, it's almost over by the time i get there. but it looks like fun.
going for my new hairstyle today. i got my cousin working on it --- she laughed and told me i did not give her enough time to think about it... so i cut a bunch of pics out of magazines and am taking them with me today. i will try to post a new pic of my hair later tonight -- please let me know what you think. won't get home til about 9 pm.
oh well, gotta go clean car and get apples -- come home, change and go to gym before my hair appointment tonight --- busy busy busy.... (took today off work instead of my usual wednesday since tomorrow i have to do and end of month inventory).
