Soda FREE Day!

Yayy! I stuck with just water (ya, and my morning coffee) all day. It was rather easy. You know what keeps me in line? Knowing that I have to log everything on the spark website. I know soda is not good for me so I am trying to 'leave it behind." I am getting back into the swing of things from the last time I lost weight (only to, you guessed it, gain it back!). I will pass that weight in 3 more lbs!!! Monday is my goal for that! Just gotta add the HALT acronym and my weight goals to my vision poster and it will be done. EXCITED I AM! I used it to remind me of what I need to do to get where I want to be. And I want to be shopping in NORMAL clothing stores! Well, gotta go for now.... emoticon

    Great job! It is hard to pass up things that we are used to, but sometimes those are what makes it hard to start new behaviors. Sodas aren't hard for me, but coffee is through the day, so I'm working on that. Great work!

    It is hard to say no to free snacks that you would have eaten normally. I made myself do a no danish month and i made it! even when the sups brought in free ones.

Well, day started out as planned. Got 9 hours of sleep, had a coffee, exercised for day 1 of my soon to be STREAK, went shopping for my Goals/Vision Poster that I plan on hanging up. I have 80% of it done. I think for the last part I am going to put my 'final destination' numbers. I even told my son I was making the poster - I never shared stuff like this before. I think it is supposed to make me more accountable - so, I've started with the hubby and the son. I'm tired so I'm headed to bed, but I am going to do at least 5 minutes on the bike first (I have to start small and build up) emoticon

Thanks for all your support people. I'm new and yet, you all jump right in and make me feel like I belong here. This is amazing. I'm into chapter 3 of the SPARK, and I am feeling it. I think my temporary lack of ability to exercise is directly related to the amount of sleep i DO NOT get. I say temporary because I will find a way to sleep 7-8 hours on a regular basis. It would be easier if I didn't get home from work at such a late hour, but, as the old saying goes, "where there is a will, there is a way." I'm off work tomorrow so I will be doing some errands, making my POSITIVE and INSPIRING goals and also making my VISUAL GOALs Poster to look at every day. My family is going to think I am NUTSOOO, but who cares. emoticon

My very first thing I am going to do tomorrow? Have a cup of java then I am going to pop this dvd in that I got over a year ago - it came with one of those big bouncy exercise balls and the exercise bands.. I am going to use it tomorrow to start off my exercise STREAK! Then I plan to take it one day at a time and climb a bunch of small little ant hills on my way to the Mt. Everest of my Goals.

Someday -- I will look good in a bathing suit! emoticon

Wow, I guess all things ARE possible! Good morning and hope you all have a very successful day. I know I plan to. I am going to be working on my long and short term goals tonight and tomorrow and I will probably work on my visual goals as well as written. Even though I'm not sure about the success of the visual one, I am going to try it-it may be fun and the more I think about it, the more I actually get giggly thinking about what kind of pictures I want to put on it. Well, gotta get ready for work now... I'll check in later. emoticon
