Baby on board.

Thursday, October 13, 2011

I'm moving over to BabyFit as I am now pregnant. I never met my goal to get down to a healthy BMI prior to having a baby but this baby is a surprise. Off I go on a new journey. My new goal is to watch my weight and try to gain only a reasonable healthy amount of weight. Then shortly after pregnancy get back to my pre-preg weight and continue to lose down to my original goal of 135. I'm hoping for a happy healthy pregnancy and baby. I'll be back in 9 months sparkpeople. emoticon

Back on track.

Friday, July 23, 2010

I am back on track. Tracking all my calories, working out and losing weight. Yesterday I was back down to 144.2. Feeling a lot better seeing myself under the 145 pound mark again. I had done well for a long time making better food choices and I was able to stay just under 145 for a while. Over time I begain to be more lax and the weight started creeping back. Now I am ready to tackle the last 10 pounds.

I have been diligent this week tracking and counting my calories and it is already paying off!! I was super excited last night when I weighed myself and was under 147 for the first time in a long time. I can't believe just a few days has made such a difference. It is very encouraging and is pushing me to keep going. I did not input my loss yet because I have decided to only log it once a week which will be wednesdays. So who know by next wednesday it could be even less! 135 hear I come. Woohooo.

Congrats! I know how that feels the first week was awesome. I also weigh myself everyday but only log it once a week, just to keep myself on track. It may slow a little bit so don't get discouraged because you can obviously be dedicated!!

Planning a Pregnancy 15 pounds to go.

Tuesday, January 26, 2010

Recently my hubby and I have discussed having our first child. We are nearing 30 and have finally decided we are ready. We hope to spend this summer together including a vacation to Rome, Italy then planning for pregnancy in the fall. Knowing that pregnancy will require weight gain made me realize that while I am only about 15 pounds overweight adding 30 pounds during pregnancy will put me way over weight to the point that I am afraid of complications or additional stress on my body due to a high starting weight. I am altering my goal from 140 down to 135 in light of our pregnancy planning. 135 will put me in the normal bmi range and healthy weight range. I want to be top form before I begin perculating a baby. I want to lose 15 pounds prior to summer and look fab this summer for our vacation. Then hopefully a healthy pregnancy.

My new scale

Thursday, January 14, 2010

My hubby got me the digital scale I wanted as a gift. I am finding it a great tool. I couldn't really see exactly what I weighed on my old scale as it was too far to see and not as acurate. I am digging the digital display with .2 accuracy. It is helping me to try harder just to see the small changes.

I got through the holidays and didn't gain any weight which is great! I still had all the treats I think I just ate less overall. I am hoping that over the year I can lose 10 pounds to finally reach my goal of 140. Weight loss is a very slow process for me but as I have always said each year I am just happy to see any loss. It sure beats gaining and gaining.
