two months to 2013

It's hard to believe there are basically only two months left to this year. All those resolutions I made in January 2012 where are they now?
I have kept my exercise goal in spite of health issues and problems with my ankle; I have walked more and started a wonderful (but challenging) pilates class. I have not done as well with eating healthly. I still eat too many fried foods and not enough fruits and vegetables. Still too much eating when I am bored.
For the next two months I resolve to do better on this front. I commit to more fruits and veggies and when I am bored finding something other than eating to do.
I'll report back in 2 months.

I can't believe I have not posted since the start of the new year. What happened to 2012? What happened with my 26 miles a week goal that I set at the start of the year. Not much. I have been having ankle/achilles tendon problems so have not been as active as I would have liked. But I have started walking to and from work most days which is 4 miles a day. when I started it seemed so hard, but now I do it without thinking.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.

This year I intend to continue with my healthy eating and exercise. I find I really do enjoy exercising. I will not be able to do my January half marathon like I did last year, but I am committing myself to do a marathon each week! Yes I said that, but what I mean is to have my weeking mileage total 26 miles. That's my January goal. we will see how I do at the end of the month.

I have finally completed the 28 day bootcamp. I am so proud of myself. I really enjoyed the doing the exercises and I will try to keep up the rotation. It is relatively easy to remember to do 15 to 20 Minutes of strength training daily. And I now know a lot of different variations so that I should not get bored.

Week 4 day 6. The end is in sight. I have done my strength workout for today and some cardio. We are having a wonderful fall day so I plan to go for another walk after work. Just one more day and I can finally tick week 4 off.
