Insanity Intensity to P90X ....

Ok i have been doing P90X for the last week, Should be on Week 2, but I started over b/c I missed 2 days last week.

I don't know how I kept up with Shaun T. intense fast-paced craziness. But I loved every second of it! I kid you not!

P90X, thus far its slow paced, I'm sure b/c its just the beginning stages. The pace is driving me bunkers. Its too slow for me, but remember I am coming from the heels of completing Shaun T.'s Insanity program. These are 2 completely different workouts but similar in ways. Tony Horton talks a little too much for me, I still need his guidance, but I will be playing my Ipod durig the workouts, I need some motivating music.

Even though I just started I am sure I will begin to like it alot. I have seen alot of awesome results on youtube. The slow pace does allow me to correct myself immediately, and really concentrate on all my movements to ensure I work the proper muscle.

I have missed the muscle soreness in the past 3 months. So I love that fact my muscles are sore everyday once again!!!!!

    I feel the pace is too slow for me too! Ive been doing it off and on for almost 2 months now...Ive started doing the reps at my own pace and ill fast forward to get to where im at next...not sure if greatest idea as it adjusts over all time of the workout :/ But for some of the cardio videos ill start over and do it again half through to make up for the time...
Keep to it I havent lost much weight in pounds but I have definetly dropped inches.. Keep it up it is a great workout just sucky pace

Ok, I know I have been slacking but I have been active for the remaining part of the summer. Alot of walking, but my food choices not so great.

I teamed up with a college roommate lately and we are doing Weight Watchers (WW) Points system. She lost 50lbs in 2010 for her wedding, she looked FABULOUS!! We talked alot and she said it seems like I would benefit from it. I can still eat whatever I want, but I must account for my points for each day. This encourages you to make HEALTHIER Eating choices every single time your mouth opens! I love it. Fruits and most veggies are 0 pts. I have also started up P90X program for great results.

I Dug Deep with Insanity this Spring/Summer however, I did not get the maximum results I 'desired' because of my poor eathing choices. Some days were better than others but I was not consistent with picking correct foods. So in a nutshell, all my sweat and busting my a** working out was a "wash". I enjoyed the intense workout, seriously I did, but I didn't like my end results as much.

I any case, back to WW. My mom used WW in the past so I just borrowed her materials and follow the book and my friend, all for FREE! If you are having an issue staying on track with your food this program is a WINNER! There are no restrictions you must account for your food choices daily. I'm not the type to do DIETS, makes no since, but this WW PointsPlus program just works for me!

M.I.A. - But in Full Effect

I've been so out of the loop from Sparkspeople for last week! TACONE, I havent' forgot our agreement! Let me know what our next Program is, I'm set ready to go.

I have been busy with family in town and my baby girls birthday, all in all it was worth being absent for a while. But I did complete Insanity in all the past week. Thank God. My knees have had a chance to recovery from the madness Shaun T. put me thru. Funny, I lost more pounds in the last 2 weeks of Insanity than from 1st Month. However, inches were consistently lost!! Skinny Jeans, I am back. LOL

IN any case, I have learnt I could push myself beyond the tiredness and challenges. I up and ready for the next step in getting fit and healthy!! Bring it on!!

    I know you had a great time with family. I know summer time is always busy. I was using this time as recovery week and to finish up my 5k your way program.

Congrats on finishing up and fitting those skinny jeans. emoticon

I just got AsYlUm in the mail. I'm ready. Let me know what is our next plan. So much so much. I know Insanity helped me big time with my Stamina. I am actually scared to do Asylum. We are rocking this.

Insanity - Countdown to Finish!

This weeks workout was very rewarding, after the set back of being sick, by Wednesday i was ampt to push forward and head into my last week of Insanitiy starting Monday.
Its bizarre to think when I started month 2 I was in shock with the first DVD, like I was in Month 1 day 1. But when 2nd and 3rd weeks completion, I see myself making good stride in each video. I may not be able to do each interval at average pace, but my ability to take a breathe and dig back in sums up my experience with Insanity!

With 1 week left starting Monday I can't wait to be finished and say I DID IT to the best of my ability. I will be sending in pix for my "I Earned It" T-shirt!
