This week is almost up, last night was a great workout, I upgraded to the Insane Abs instead of Cardio Abs! Let me tell you the Ab DVD WAS CRAZY! Pushing myself is my new way of life! I am lovin' it.

This 60+ day journey with Insanity has given me a new perspective on healthy lifestyle. I took being young and active in my 20s for granted. Now at 32, metabolism has slowed down, and my active level. This program put the fire up under my BOOTY, and it burns like hell but it feels wonderful!

I must say my biggest challenge is getting a grip on my eating! For some reason tracking is hard to done. ITs funny because I love to make lists for everything. Prepackaged meals is the way to go for at list 14 days, I need to find someplace or program that would be cost effective to set me in the right direction.

Feeling Sick, but still Digging Deep

Tuesday, June 21, 2011

For the last few days I have been feeling like myself doing Insanity. I have some type of head & stomach issue. Who knows, but I plan on nursing this out of my system as soon as possible.
I have had to cut some workouts short because of feeling dizzy (lack of eating, no energy to do full workouts; but I did get it my best as long as I could.

I have 2 weeks left of Insanity, and I plan on going out with a major BANG! My Fit Test was scheduled for yesterday, but I knew going into the Max Interval would require my best foot forward, so I will be doing Fit Test on Friday or Saturday Morning.

Although I feel yucky, at least I am burning some cardio calories for the amount of the time I can keep up. Some calories better than none! I hope to be back at full speed Thursday.

My finger always hitting PLAY! Taking a break when I need it, but smiling because I love it!

Way to go buddy. Make sure you take care of yourself and get plenty of rest, water and eat right. It helps. I was sick the same week that you were in as well. I got a lot of rest in and it helped big time. We can do this. Hang in there.

Month 2 Week 2 Day3 Insanity

Wednesday, June 15, 2011

Ok I have been slacking on my blogs, but I have been getting in my workouts.
Last few days I have been doing some work at home.

This week proves to be better than last with this program. I think my mind, body, and soul went into overdrive SHOCK with the Max workouts. Since I have simmered down I actually managed to get thru Max Interval Plyo today. I still HATE Max Circuit. LOL

Tomorrow is Max Recovery cant wait, it's calling me. I would have liked this Rcovwry in month one itbseems to be more thorough.

My new Nike workout shoes are awesome! However I believe that I need to get something for my arches, they really ache after long strenuous exercises. I always had this problem when I used to dance but eventually I got an shoe insert. I gott figure out what and where I got it from.

Well, keep pushing play folks, my 60 days are nearing to an end! Phew, I never thought I'd make it this far. Sheer determination is directing this train.

Very nice! Good luck finding the shoe inserts. Being comfortable on your feet while working out is much more than just a plus so I hope you can find them soon.

Have a wonderful Max Recovery tomorrow. :-)

Considering doing my First 5K Race!!

Monday, June 13, 2011

I live in VA, 25 min outside of DC. All year long there are walks, races, obstacle courses. You name it we got it. So I missed the Race for the Cure, totally forgot; you say thats impossible bc DC is one of the the biggest event for Cancer Research. Well I forgot all about it.

Back in March, we did do March for Babies 5k walk. It was fun with the little one in the stroller.
So I want to up my anty!Run a 5k. I have found 2 upcoming ones:

1. Semper Fi 5K Race/Walk - July 2nd
2. Caribbean Sounds Race Weekend Rock Creek Park July 9th & July 10th

I guess I need to get back outdoors and really get training again. Lately it has been very hot & humid outdoors in the evenings, can't breath its that hot! But this week it will be in the 80s so I take littl one out with tme for a short jog and then do my Insanity - if my legs don't give out on me. LOL

I volunteered at a 5K and totally regret not participating. It was fun being there but could tell I really missed out! Starting some training myself for the same event next year, there are 3 or 4 annual runs in my community, would love to do them all! emoticon

Insane Weekend

Monday, June 13, 2011

Ok, I havent posted in few days. But I did doall my required Insanity workout my all time fam Max Interval Circuit,-NOT! this workout is brutal! Thursday morning I did not want to get out of bed bc i was so sore, but my days went on. I hope the next Fit test I will be able to max out my numbers! All this hard work needs to be noticed in numbers, even if its not on the scale as I would like.

I am thinking I need to redo my calorie intake. Shakeology cleanse I lost 3 pounds, and thats not sticking with the diet they setup for us. Those days I added Turbofire I saw more results on the scale, I think I may add that back in routine on a permanent basis.

I even got in alot of gardening work this weekend, mowing the lawn, pulling weeds in the front yard - my husband was a lazy A$$ all weekend; dont get me started.

To end on a brighter note I bought some new kicks! I wanted to reward myself for sticking to the program despite minor success. I went to Nike Outlet and bought the new Nike Free crosstrainer shoes. Awesome shoe fits like a snug glove! They are specifically made for workouts like Insanity, Turbo, P90X etc... READ THE REVIES on Nike.com

They say we should be seeing great results in month 2 as long as we follow our eating correctly even if it's inches. Nice reward. That should be great motivation.
