Today, I went to my TurboKick certification training. OMG! What fun and sweat went on up in class. Seriously, if you love Chalene and all her formats go to her site turbokick.com and get into on of those format as a "Pro"-learn form/technique better OR "Instructor" to learn everything to teach in a class; which i did today.

It was hella fun I wore my HRM to see how many calories I burnt. Over 1800 and this for when we were learning/moving not sitting and listening. I now have better form when I go back to TurboFIre after INSANITY in a few weeks. Yes, I thought I was doing all moves right but our Trainer broke it down and watched us and show us the real deal to get the bang out of our workouts!! Loved every minute 9am - 5pm!

So needless to say I DID NOT do INSANITY workout today - I worked my booty off in class for sure to makeup for it. But I love marking "X" on my my Insanity calendar I'll try to do it tomorrow - I know I'll be so sore and no Rest Day for this week. I'll see.

WTH was I thinking I woke up this morning with a huge smile on my face, then I rolled out of bed and my entire body felt like a ton of breaks. My legs were so sore, even my damn armpits were sore! Ha

In any case I put on my workout clothes and made it to the garage carefully. Push Play and that Shhh... had me hurting at the first exercise. I had to break at 1min. Then I gullied up and dug deep it was hard but I managed to burn over 400 calories this morning. Ill take that since I burnt over 1000 total with all the non-sense i was doing yesterday.

Max Interval Plyo Freaking Bananazzzzz! OMG there is nothing to describe it u have to bare witness to it yourself - I DARE U. Its freaking crazy. I ordered some Energy & Endurance, and Results & Recovery formula from Beachbody to help me thru this Month I can't wait to get it. B/c what they sipping on R&R is taking them to another atmosphere to keep up with Shaun T.

This month is going to be soooo serious. Nutrition has to be on point!

I know of another huge group is doing right now. They are in their 3rd last phase of Reset now. Food that they been posting on their fb page looks freakiing delicious. Foods I never heard or tried before.

Ill let u know if I do it in Jan. B/c they say u dont exercise when u do the Reset gives ur body time to absorb something or rather. LOL

I need to near on at my goal weight by Feb 12th my Bday. So i dont know if im willing to just stop we shall see where I stand in Dec. B/c Reset u do lose weight. I just like working out too much right now. haha

Yea, go run if u have the energy! But dont over do it like i did, but i didnt regret it. We are crazy.

    I'm feeling your high. You might make me go jogging when I get home. I already did my P90X2 this morning. I was looking at Ultimate Reset but I don't want to spend that money. I might wait for you and do it in January. I was reading all of the threads on the website and I am basically doing the samething with my eating now except for the days when I fall off. I don't want to spend all of that money and fall off. We GOT THIS. Keep up the great work. emoticon

Insanity: Day 1 Month 2

Officially I am crazy and deranged!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVVVVEE Max Interval Circuit warmup. SO much fun. I thought it would feel like starting over Day 1 of Insanity. but my consistency in working out has paid off htat it didn't kill me, yes the rest was tough as nail but I really DUG DEEP try to do as much as i could. Trust me I took breaks.

Tomorrow is another day and I may be speaking something else. HA.

Today also had to do our 3rd Fit Test here are my results:

Fit Test #1 #2 #3

1. Switch Kicks: 41- 50- 52
2. Power Jacks: 40- 37- 43
3. Power Knees: 64- 75- 75
4. Power Jumps: 20- 27- 25
5. Globe Jumps: 7- 8- 10
6. Suicide Jumps: 8- 9-11
7. Push-Up Jacks: 14- 18-24
8. Low Plank Obliques: 28- 32- 44

I'm proud of my #'s this aint easy! But I'm doing the damn thing. Never deny yourself. If u say you can do it then you will, if you say u can't you won't. I got this and Shaun T. ain't making me quit he is making stronger physically and mentally (INSANE).

Oh, I was so stoked this evening I threw in some Turbofire 45 Chalene Johnson, I tell u I was on FIYA I miss this workout program. Its up next right after INSANITY for a FACT.

We got this all figured out all before the new year when everyone else will be looking silly and planning another year of the same resolutions.

Insanity - On to Week 5

Wow. Its has almost been a complete 30 days doing Insanity!
Time does fly when you are busting your butt and taking time for yourself.

I got a hold of my eating with a few hiccups on the weekend. But, I got this. I know when I am most vulnerable which is the weekend chilling at home with the family!! When Im not busy I find myself looking for junk. lol We dont have much junk in the house but a bag of chips and cookies for our 2yr old snacks.

In any case, moving into week 5 - Recovery Week. But we already know it will have Shaun T's twist on what WE think is recovery and what He makes it be! haha Get ready Core & balance all 6 days Not missing a day. Im sure this is everyday for a reason to lead into Month 2 Max everything. Oh, by the way Fit Test 3 is Monday too along with Max Cardio. WTH is that about. Gonna make it a A.M. and P.M. workout session. Made it this far, i aint letting him kill me right off the bat.

Knees are feeling good, minor aches but doing alright. Having proper shoes, and Form is key this program.

Starting Tuesday going to do the 3 Day Shakeology cleanse to jumpstart and cleanse my system. Thinking bout doing the Ultimate Reset at the beginning of the new year too - we shall see.

Week 5 - Let's Do This!

Lapse of Motivation - Get Over It!

THe last 2 days I ALMOST, ALMOST lost motivation to workout for the past 2 days.
But I got off my EXCUSE couch and Pushed Play and within 15 minutes I was happy I made that wise decision!

WE all full into this Lapse of judgment every now and then. Some lapse and never come out of their pity party, others pull up their big girl panties and do their thing - because they see the changes already happening even if its just mental rather need the physical changes to be more their motivation.

Never self sabotage your hard work for a few bad ideas that may creep in your mind.
Ingrain in your mind WHY you started your fitness journey. If u keep that insight you won't EVER fall victim of falling back into bad habits. If you don't have a WHY - find one because u do have one no matter how simple or even narcistist it may be. Why do what we do? We always have a reason.

Motivation comes within you! Either getting fit/healthy is important to you or its not! If you end up on the fence you better lean in and get ready to fall either way for the better or worse. You are the only factor, so what's it gonna be?

Remain the Same OR Change?

  I agree with Tacones! I read the middle part over 3 times, great reflection. Besides i need to know I've got a couple of other Insaniacs out there when I hear the " I don't feel like it" creep into my brain;). So don't quit on me:) there's a great line in one of the Jillian Michaels DVDs I bought, she says something like - do you want to be skinny or not? Shut up and do your mountain climbers - so now I say that to myself on nights when I feel the old excuses start up again. Or I just start repeating - don't think, just change, don't think, tie your shoes, don't think, push play- I don't give my brain time to rationalize its way out of anything:). It can be hard to get off that "excuse couch" - you should be really proud of yourself emoticon
