Day 8 - Cardio Power & Resistance! Bring it Shaun T.

I must admit this day was as bad as last week (Cardio & Resistance)!! I did do more than last week I felt under control of my breathing and movements.
I did need breaks during the workout but not as nearly as much as last week.

I think this will be a good week to really concentrate on burning more of those fat calories. Currently burning around 465-468 calories per 45 workout sessions.

I will also be adding in a 3 mile walk this Saturday in Washington, DC for the March of Dimes March for Babies!!! My preemie was born at 31 weeks, she is now a beaming ray of light at 10 months!! Our family team name is 'Kennedy's Twinkle Toes'!!! Our family & friends along with my little girl will be getting out and walking for this cause,, I have reached my fundraising goal too! I am proud of myself today ! Keep pushing play!



Side Note: This day also marks the day when Muslims around the world and Americans take solace in the fact some"justice" was served for the ones that perished in 9/11. Osama Bin Laden has been killed.

  


Day 4 & Day 5

I had a little battle with my husband for TV on Wednesday. Its not just any TV it was the Big Flat Screen, 57' in our Basement. He wanted to watch Post NFL Draft on it instead of watching it on the other 2 smaller one upstairs.

In any case I skipped Thursday(Rest Day for that week) and got Thurs & them both done on Saturday and will finish up "Saturday" on Sunday.

Let me say the Cardio Recovery was great but i didnt think it would be challenging as I thought it would be. It felt good to do deep stretches FINALLY but it still burnt like crazy in my legs. I actually worked up a sweat, even though we weren't moving fast.

Day 5
However, I will say doing the Cardio Recovery before the Pure Cardio was not that bad. My muscles were really warmed up and I was not a sore waking up the next day.

Pure Cardio is a serious workout! OMG, he certainly had everything that was brutally tough in this workout regiment. I don't know what else to say. BUt I HATE Push-Up Jacks!

Keep pushing was not enough! After the workout I layed out on the floor, my 9month crawled over to me and I swear to got up on her knees put one hand on my forehead, the other on my sweaty chest as if she was checking to see if I was alove! It was hilarious!! Then she pounded her hand on my chest. So funny!!!

Too funny, she wanted to know if money was alive for sure. At 5am when I work out the dog is the only one looking at me like what in the world are you doing to yourself. The way she looks at me is so funny.

Good job still pushing play. Hopefully you will be back on track for week 2. Today I slept like a log and was so happy to take a break. My mind and body really needed it. I need to get organize so my muscles won't be too tired for week 2 and I could be really amp for this. Preparation is the key for me to keep going with ease.

I am thinking long term of the results and that is what is keeping me going right now.

I did enjoy cardio recovery as well but still sweat anyway.

The floor exercises are hard for me. Lord, I hope to get stronger soon so I can increase the amount of all the floor exercises.

Day 3 - Cardio & Resistance ( Butt Kicked)

Ok! Day 3 does not get any easier than the day before! Right out the door I was out of breathe within for 5 minutes, probably even less than that. I took many breaks to catch my breathe and recover my form. Nothing wrong with that, at least I know I pushed myself when I could.

Nothing more that I can say about today! I just know I will be in a better shape in 2 weeks. I feel the first few days is Breaking you down to only Build you back up! I am ready to built! LOL

Day 2 - Plyo Cardio Circuit

Just got finished, I feel I just had an outer body experience. OMG, It was a killer.

Before starting my body was still aching from Day 1. This program is not for any logical person. Interval training is a sure thing to burning calories and increase stanima. I a happy to have support from my hubby and friends, this holds me accountable! Plus I want to look slim by my daughter's 1st bday, July 3rd.

I did use my Polar FT4, Heart Rate/Calorie counter. My Calorie burn was 450. I did stay within my HR Zone at all, I was well above my limit. As time goes by, my HR Zone will change as my weight decreases. I am going to attempt to slow changing my eating habit and water intake!

I really need to read (ask SP folks) up on staying in my Fat Burning Zone. However, I do know burning calories is more efficient to get rid of fat, which is my end result.

Tomorrow I will add my $5, Waist Trimmer Belt (Walmart), to get my mid-section to sweat more. AND since my pregnancy I have a sciatic nerve problem that likes to bother me, ever now and then, so its good back support too.

    I know what you mean about busy having a busy life.

I thought I was about to drop dead with those damn push ups! He had me on that, I had to be creative in my push ups this time.

    I need to do an updated picture too but so busy that the little things you don't seem to find time for. Maybe this weekend I will try to do it.

I see you already did day 2. Talk about INSANE. I wish he had done the workouts towards the end first because it was so hard holding my body up and digging deeper. Way to go completing day 2. It's on now. Tomorrow is day 3. Are you ready. I am going to bed early so I can get a goods night rest so I will do mine early in the morning before work. emoticon

Day 1 - Insanity Fitness Test

Daily Entry:
Well, all I can say is that I am glad to get thru it. I thought I was going to fall out! I know the next 60 days is not going to be any easier on me! I just know my body will be ready in 2 weeks for the next Fit Test.

I plan on documenting my days (if time allows) so I can track my progress and eagerness to get back into shape. This too will keep me motivated on days I feel down/out about working out.

I have a Polar FT4 to document calories burnt and heart rate. This way I can challenge and keep pushing myself to do better.

Dig Deep is definitly a motto thru this program!

  I'm entering my 3rd week, and I absolutely love the feeling of anticipation as I start the work out. I am starting to see muscle definitation in my abs shoulders and legs. Weight wise I have not lost much ( i continue to eat plenty.) Iam only happy to finally see my body healthy & sexy again. emoticon

    I feel ya. Today was my first day and I thought I was going to die. The fit test was hard. Once I was done, I sat down for about 30 minutes.

emoticoncompleting day 1. Good luck tomorrow on doing day 2. I know being well rested for me will help get me thru this.
