MONDAY MADNESS

As usual, Monday came too fast and lasted too long. It's 10:46 PM and I just got home from the gym. Mondays are very crazy for me...my busiest day...and my last clients are at 6 and 6:30, then I come home and eat and then head to the gym no matter how much I DON"T FEEL LIKE IT!

I am really proud of myself since doing this 28 day bootcamp. I am in my last week and I did great. the scale hasn't moved...my measurements haven't either really, but my body shape is changing, I am building muscle, I am sweating for at least 70 minutes a day, and going to the gym is a habit now....Who knew that would ever happen!? I know the scale and tape measure will reflect my hard work one day...people still see me and comment on how I am still shrinking...it's muscle now! :)

I am pooped...I hope one day I can write something so inspiring...like the ones we read that make me laugh and nod in agreement! But I am too tired! Have to take my face off and go to bed!

Weekends go too fast!

It's Sunday night...where did the 2 days go!? I worked out everyday this weekend! I stayed on plan....I am trying to be EXTRA good until the New Year with a couple days where I may not know what everything tracks at! Christmas week...not really a Christmas person since I moved to New Zealand and don't have family and friends around....and no snow....and it was 91 degrees yesterday! YUCK! LOL

But my goal is to get through it...stay on track and just treat it like any other day...I'm more interested in other holidays! Bring on the muscles, fat loss, and relaxation! :)

    I understand, it is hard when you are away from family. I think Christmas is the hardest day.

SO....I have noticed that my calories range has been going up lately...and today...OH MY GOODNESS....Are you serious!? I am just walking around the house trying to find snack foods to fill in my extra calories...It's insane! I guess 70 minutes of Cardio a day plus weights has made it increase and I totally get why it's important, but wow...it's a bit much! So I guess if you wanna eat heaps, work your butt off! LOL

It's 90 degrees outside and lots of people have made excuses and I still made a way to get to the gym! I even earned a "Gym Rat" medal on Fourspare today and I know it's stupid but It means I have made health a habit!!! My next goal is to get my name on the front door of the gym for being one of the members who have visited most often! That will be a grand day! :) I will have a big celebration!

It's amazing what can change in a year, a month, a day!

Today I had a great day, but all of a sudden I felt SO tired and not so flash! I kept trying to talk myself into going to the gym, but decided to take an off day today and go on Saturday which is usually an "off" day. It's weird because I sort of feel guilty but I am so tired, I am just gonna head to bed early.

On a plus side...my goal jeans that I got into last month...are getting annoying cuz they're getting too big! LOL emoticon

    I totally agree with you. Your body is wise and if you listen, it will always know the right thing to do. Sometimes if I am really tired, I'll do some quiet yoga or stretching. It feels good but doesn't sap my energy when I'm only running on fumes! I also sleep better which allows me to recover and train harder the next day.

    One thing I have learned, is that you have to take time off t let your body recover. I no longer try to do it all day after day as My body can no longer do that at age 68.

Had a rough day emotionally...but stayed on track in every other way :)

I went for my 70 minutes of cardio and weights as I got to 45 minutes I started telling myself "you don't have to do 70...the challenge said a couple days or incline...you're doing an incline and everyday...what's one day?!"

Then..."No...keep going until ya' just can't stand it anymore....OKAY.....

60 Minutes The Girl's Next Door episode I was watching on my iPod was a good one, so I said....well, I'll just watch until the episode is over....at 69:15 the episode was over and I coasted with fierceness to 70 minutes and walked proudly to the weights and swiss balls! I did it...I didn't wanna...but I did it. It wasn't the best workout I've ever done...but sweat dripped off my hair...so to me...it's all a WIN WIN!!! Thank you Holly, Hef, Bridget, and Kendra...your naked behinds and adventures motivate me more than you will ever understand!!! LOL
