PART 1 DONE - GYM INSTRUCTOR

This week I completed part 1 of my studies and now I can start working on the gym floor and helping people with their programs etc. I will be coming in on my personal time to "shadow" some great trainers, and then get some more hours in the gym. I have been offered 2 other jobs in the last couple weeks that are in the industry and would work with my hours here...but I got to decline both offers because of how quickly things are happening...I'm so excited! :)

Had some emotional stress this weekend and usually I sleep but I had a wee binge and it's a funny thing when you are aware you are doing it and trying to analyze it when you're in the middle of it...and realizing it doesn't even taste good!!! LOL I am still changing obviously and all in positive ways. I don't feel guilty for my binge. I eat pretty well more than 80% of the time...and I know life happens...move on and do better :) It's all good!

Everytime I go to workout, I have to increase my weight size.
My measurements are shrinking :) but I still loathe the question "how much have you...do you...want to lose? I really don't care about the number anymore. I want muscles and strength and to compete in Crossfit one day...that's my goal...it's not a number on the scale anymore....also proof that I'm changing for good. I don't ever desire to be skinny nor would my genetics get me there...I am a strong sturdy German girl. Wunderbar!

I have had MANY setbacks...and still continue to based on my pain from Fibro, nerve and muscle pain, etc. BUT I know how to work with it now. After a big weight lifting session I need the next day off...I was trying 2-3 days on and 1 off...my body didn't like that...so I may work out longer but then I just do cardio the next day or rest with a play activity. :) I have had to learn a lot of patience in the last 2 years! Work with wht you can when you can!

my bloodwork and complete health screen is 100% sweetness! My Dr. keeps telling me to stop being paranoid about diabetes, heart disease, etc....(my family genes are horrific health wise)...but because I work out and eat clean and basically don't eat animals that had eyelashes and fur...my numbers are stellar....so....isn't that what this is about!? I think I've gotten to that point where I KNOW the extra fat will move away slowly and make room for some big muscles that I desire by just continuing to do the right things...and with the right help and support! Day by day...good choice after good choice...it will all add up and a crossfit goddess will emerge....giggle...those of you who know me...fingers crossed I don't hurt myself....LMAO

So...that's the scoop...a bump in the road is not the end of the road! Don't assume you KNOW someone else's story...judgement is unneccessary!

Busy Busy

Well, I am loving my job at the gym and I am trying to get my studies completed so I can do some training of clients as well. I am going to be teaching the reShapeme program which is about nutrition and fitness and there are so many opportunities here for me to grow and make my dreams come true. I am so grateful. I wasn't sure if I wanted this job but I think it was put in my path for a reason now.

Still doing grocery store demos and will start volunteering with elderly people in the next couple weeks. Can't wait!

My Morph Assist business is slowly growing and I'm getting enquiries and that's good. I'm not really advertising much as I can't devote a ton of time to it right now...but once my studies are done, look out!!! :)

Other than that, nothing new! Just stopping by to say hey and have a great week!

Attacking April

True to form for me, I am shrinking in measurements, but not on the scale. I am okay with that! My clients are the same. It's such a weird thing for people who are obsessed with that number to let go of.

I want my clients to learn how to eat properly...the RIGHT foods 80-90% of the time, the right portions 100% of the time, and to identify what send them into a spiral...we all have been there...DIETING IS NOT THE ANSWER! Yet so many people believe that eating healthy means dieting! We have really messed people up in past years. You may have reduced calories...but it's the same food you should be eating for life!

If you move more...you can eat more...but as you get older if you're still eating the same amount and not moving anymore, or moving less, YOU WILL gain weight! It's part of aging!

It is a calories in vs calories out...but it also is healthy clean choices and staying away from processed/boxed/bagged etc items as much as possible. Some people feel it's soooo hard to eat clean...maybe SQUEAKY clean...but if you think about eating ...if it came out of the ground or had a mother...you should be fine...your treat items usually are processed...but even those you can clean up! The way your body feels not having that extra stuff in it is amazing...for bloating, for pain, for weight loss, for blood pressure, etc... But I don't see it as a diet.

So my clients and I have started an APRIL ATTACK contest this month. I give them a point for the following items daily:

1 point for moving the amount of time I have given them
1 point for staying on plan and eating within calories/nutritional breakdown
1 point for taking a 1/2 hour out of the day to spend ALONE doing something for yourself.
1 Point for getting in at least 2 liters of water
and 1 bonus point for 8+ hours of sleep!

I will be doing spot prizes and prizes at the end for the most points.
This contest makes everyone even and able to earn the same amount of points.
Many people really OVER indulged during Easter break - which is 4 days long here! So DETOX all the sugar, fat and salt now....but new beginnings...ATTACKING APRIL so we can be A-MAY-ZING in MAY!

March Magic

Well, my March has been a rollercoaster...good, bad, appreciating, heartbreaking....it's a bit strange. I'm still on the job hunt...grrrr.
Still studying and loving it! :) yea!
My Morph Assist Clients are shrinking and learning how to eat healthy! Whoo hoo!
I have a man who loves me! :) yeah!
I have a roof over my head and our bills are paid. Thanks to my man :)
I am stronger and shrinking too! Not on the scale as much but by the tape measure!

I am trying to find the bright lights in my days ...because when I am not achieving career targets (having a job and reaching targets and contributing) I have been really down on myself. So...just taking time for appreciating myself and what I have to offer to the world!

So that's my tip...take time to appreciate yourself! :)

Still Here Just changing some things up

I know I seem like I'm not really here...well, I've been trying something new...NOT counting calories but sticking to the portions of things and my nutirtion checklist that I give to my clients...just to see what kind of results I see :)

Still tracking exercise on here for my points and trying to welcome new members and such :) Been pretty busy.

Lots of studying and my business Morph Assist as well. Trying to find the balance and get it all done! :)
