The last several days I have been meeting with preschools and nursery staff about helping them lose weight and helping them get healthy. It's been really fun and an eye opener. I have learned..or better yet, realized that I know my stuff! It's really cool!
While I work for The Weight Loss Girls and we use OptiSlim products from Australia, not everyone can use them or afford them plus me as their consultant....so I have many special need clients...LOL. Sparkpeople is my tool for the ones who exercise like freaks of nature, diabetics, and vegans and any other weird requirements....lol.
OptiSlim products are completely nutritionally sound meal replacements that I see as TOOLS for people to use to lose weight while they are learning portion size, cooking techniques, and the confidence to make the right choices. I don't want people to rely on them because that is not living...but as a temporary tool...it works wonders, helps them lose weight, get their nutrition, start believing in themselves, attempt working out and/or exercising, and even having energy to just stay awake!!!

Everybody has a tool...WW has points, JC has prepackaged food, etc. SPARKPEOPLE fits in with every programme because it's the tool you need to hold YOURSELF responsible and accountable! It helps YOU to take control...even when using tools and another programme.

I believe if you have the right support, accountability, and help...You can do anything. My job is to help and support...teach and train...motivate and encourage...because I believe in everyone...even if they don't yet believe in themselves. I hope I am a valuable tool in their life's journey! And not a "Tool" :)

Had a pretty decent day actually! Met with businesses about our weight loss service and then went to the gym, then dinner, and now, my last client of the day at 6 PM and then I can come home and relax. :) Looking forward to that! The man made me very angry and sad tonight and I want to beat him with a stick right now.

But I choose the higher road and wait for his groveling and apology...and I will make him work for it. Frickin' boys!

Alrighty...that's it for me...sorry...:( Not exciting or inspiring....just daily life! LOL

Late and tired...but just doing my best

It's 11:22 Pm and I am still awake...just got back form gym and showered I discovered muscles I haven't seen before...YEA! I think my allergies are getting the best of me...so I did my ear candelling tonight and it feels so nice now! LOVE IT!

Tomorrow is the Last day that Chloe is here..and while she is wonderful and perfect as far as kids go...I miss my alone time and I think I'm overdue for Patty time...I get very mentally exhausted having people in my space 24/7...I'm introverted and LOVE my alone time. Looking forward to that!

Anywho....went and worked out and I was yawning through it again! Yup...I'm tired.
So off to bed I go!

    It is always nice for me time and peqacefully qeiet after company has left. I yawn during workouts too, and I workout early afternoon. I chalk that up to needing jaw stretching(ha ha).

    Totally get you on the Alone Time. I too enjoy and NEED my alone time. My hubby an I are the same, we have absolutely no problem doing things on our own.

He works 12 hours shifts, so every other weekend, I get the house to myself, love the guy, but also really like it when he's out of my hair. LOL

Makin' a Change and Makin' it Better!

SO...here's my Monday...I'll explain why I'm boring you with this....

Monday I get up at 6 AM
Eat breakfast, feed animals (4), get me ready
Leave house at 8:30 AM
First client at 9 AM
Drive to second client at 9:30...etc. I am a mobile Weight Loss Consultant....so I drive to each client.
This is how my day goes until about 4:30...then I drive home...maybe stop and grab any loose ends (although I try to take one day a week and plan ahead)

Got home..had a couple phone calls I had to make for new clients and 5:30 my man gets home....I then start dinner....today it took a wee bit longer to cook...and because I wasn't home all day...I didn't eat evenly...but I did eat breakfast and lunch...just not extras that I need. So after dinner, it's about 7:30 PM...I had a bowl of cereal and milk, a large can of chunk pineapple and 24 Almonds to complete my calories...it was past 8 PM...STILL NOT AT THE GYM...and I have to get up at 6 AM tomorrow. Grrrr and now I am SUPER full! I also usually see 2 clients at 6:00PM and 6:30PM on Mondays (just not tonight) and the try to eat and then work out....it gets ridiculous.

I am by nature a stick to what the plan says cuz that's what it says kinda girl...well, I turned a corner today and said...I need to change this!!!!!

I don't do anything on Sundays and the gym is CRAZY on Mondays...hate it...no matter what time I go. So instead of having a rest day on Wednesday and Sunday, I will be having a rest day on Mondays and Thursdays instead!!!! Sorry Jillian Michaels...I am still committed to your amazingness...just had to move it a day! :) This will be better for me...no stress...no rushing...more sleep...less busy gym on Tuesday days and Sundays...all around making me smile.

The point is that I make the time...I do the required work, and I am still committed but fitting it into my schedule! :) Yea me!!! Now for week 3 of Winning By Losing...Help!!!! :)

    Gyms are always busy on Mondays, that's usually when folks are resolving to start over or trying to make up for less-than-stellar weekends (or at least that's how I used to do it! :)) Cheers to more sleep and less rushing around!
