WHOA MAMA - Getting up and down today!

My legs are SOOOOOOOOOOO sore today from the last 2 days...I have been heating since yesterday. My goodness. Today was my day of rest but I'm not quite sure that's a good thing....we'll see tomorrow. I am putting my trust in Jillian Michaels! LOL

I slept like crap due to soreness and looked like a cripple when I saw clients today! LOL Loving the groaning, ooohh ahhh-ing everytime I had to get up, down, or bend...For the love....

Anywho...didn't quite stick to plan today...just wasn't in the mood + sleepy + pain meds....ahhhh...I did however NOT pig out like I normally would have about 4 months ago. That's cool! :)

Think I am heading to bed early. I have my first EFT session tomorrow to help me with one of my personal resolutions for 2011 and I am excited. :) Google it!

CHA-CHA Changes

Today I completed day 2 of Jillian Michael's Winning By Losing Circuit...and it wasn't as crazy as I thought. It felt great. My legs are seriously going to start on fire everytime I get up or sit down now, but at least I know I am challenging my body in new ways and that's always good. I also remember from when I use to weight lift back in 1991 that I needed more weights than cardio to see changes and after yesterday, I think I reproved that to myself. I did the Circuit and then hopped on the treadmill and didn't kill it...just did 3.5 mph for 30 minutes and I dropped 1.5 lbs overnight! I have been stuck and usually I do NOT see any loss on the scales after a workout day...only after a rest day. So that was really big for me!

For my 30 minutes of cardio I watched The Biggest Loser season 10 on my iPod and it reignited a dream I have had for years. I think for 2012 I will take on this HUGE project. I have always wanted to open a CAMP for teens...and I think now that I see what I see and know what I know...for families as well. It will be like everything The Biggest Loser offers...but it will also teach dressing for your body type, skin care, makeup...etc. I want to teach confidence and self esteem and putting your best YOU forward each and everyday. I would love for this to be the vacation that families take every year instead of filling their pie-holes full of Cadbury and fish and chips here and wine after the kids go to bed. Same crap...different house! I know it may take 20 years to happen...with finance, doctors, specialists, diabetes concerns, addressing verbal abuse and educating families on what funny little comments actually do to someone...etc. So...I am putting it out there into the universe...I will have a special notebook where I write my thoughts, vision, and requirements and then start contacting people....ya' just never know. Even though we have a free health care system here in New Zealand and they love to cast stones in their glass house about Americans being the fattest nation...I see more obese people here everyday than healthy ones...SERIOUSLY! And diabetes is HUGE here!!

Biggest Loser Ranch...:) Dream Big and Change the world...not just for yourself, but for others!

That is how my legs feel after day 1 of Jillian Michaels Winning By Losing Circuit. WHOA mama! I thought they were gonna buckle out from under me when I was walking from one side of the gym to the other. CRAZY! This is gonna suck tomorrow...no wait...I get to do it again...oh joy! Day of rest on Wednesday....yea...cuz I won't be able to move....LMAO....OMG!

I didn't have strength to come home and cook so I got my normal veggie delite sub, no cheese, no sauce, but some avocado on wheat bread on the way home and ANOTHER bottle of water.

Seriously...jumping jacks for a minute and jumping rope for a minute is a lot harder than it sounds....GEESH! BUT I got through Sum Squats and regualr squats with just amount of pain and agony...that surprised me! I usually suck major monkey balls at them!

SO...just trying to get my 100 points in for the day...it's one of my daily goals...and then bed. Someone feel free to peel me off my mattress tomorrow morning around 10 please! Thanks!

    Way to go! The first time I tried Jackie Warner's Personal Trainer DVD, I did the 40 min total body workout... my legs were so sore, I walked funny for 2 days!

    Hahaha, that's how I feel when I finished the workouts on Xbox kinect. It does get better over time, but why is everyone pushing squats so badly. That's not gonna give me the six pack abs I asked for. lol

PS.- On the last blog I randomly jumped in, I made a comment about you (since you couldn't defend yourself.) It was after a comment you made and I said not to believe you about the cat door story. And that you were really the perv peeking through the cat door and watching your friend making out on the couch... Perv :P

Music is Magic!

I literally had to DRAG my butt to the gym tonight...I went at 8:15 PM! Did nothing all day but procrastinate.

Hopped on my favourite treadmill (it's the one by the AC vent) and threw my iPod into it, and started watching music videos and it was like a jolt of lightening for me! I was up, I was into it, I was singing, and I was movin! And I even ran a little. I use to only be able to run like 15 seconds at a time...I have been working my way up...today I did 2 minutes twice...that's huge for me! :) So that made me happy!!

And then I came home and had the rest of my calories Lite cottage cheese, pineapple, and almonds. Now...I am ready for bed...just a cup of green tea left to chill out with.

Thanks to a new Spark Member - DEARFACE, I applied to be part of the Christchurch Roller Derby League today as well. I have always wanted to do it! She inspired me and my man is just excited about it as I am! We both know I'll be great! :) HA HA I don't know when sign up begins, but I'll be buying my skates, etc and getting into it. I use to speed skate and roller skate at least 5 days a week most of my life until late high school! LOVED IT!

I also started my Nutrition studies today and am very excited to get that underway as well! 2011 here I come with a vengeance!

Had another great sleep in...ate breakfast at noon :) Whoop Whoop! God I love that! I feel old when I wake up at 7...like my grandparents did that!!!! It's like having coffee after dinner in a restaurant...someone stab me in the eye! Hate it! Yes...I am 38 1/2 years young and I feel 13 compared to most people my age. They just wanna have coffee, talk, have babies, and eat out. :) LOL I love amusement parks, horror movies, mini golf, race car driving, roller skating,,,etc. C'mon!!!!

Went to the gym and had a great workout..sang all the way through it! :) I find it difficult to dance while walking on the treadmill too...but some days I try!!! :)

Washed my car and had visions of P!NK acting like Jessica Simpson and laughing!
Did some cleaning of the yard, pulling of ugly weeds near my shiny car...and then the man, Chloe and I went and had fish n chips by the Estuary....and then we came home and I ate my veggies and I am STILL trying to eat all my calories! Crazy sometimes!

So...I hope you all make fun for and of yourselves everyday!

    Why don't we live closer? I love doing all those things! I don't know what happens to folks, I guess they get used to routines but I love doing new stuff.
