*A lot of people have sworn to support and defend the
constitution against all enemies -- foreign and domestic.
Last time I looked... 2nd amendment was part of the
constitution.*

*WASHINGTON (Reuters)* - The United States
reversed policy on Wednesday and said it would
back launching talks on a treaty to regulate
arms sales as long as the talks operated by
consensus, a stance critics said gave every
nation a veto. The decision, announced in a
statement released by the U.S. State Department,
overturns the position of former President
George W. Bush's administration, which had
opposed such a treaty on the grounds that
national controls were better. On Wednesday
Obama Took the First Major Step in a Plan to Ban
All Firearms in the United States.

The Obama administration intends to force gun
control and a complete ban on all weapons for US
citizens through the signing of international
treaties with foreign nations. By signing
international treaties on gun control, the Obama
administration can use the US State Department
to bypass the normal legislative process in
Congress. Once the US Government signs these
international treaties, all US citizens will be
subject to those gun laws created by foreign
governments. These are laws that have been
developed and promoted by organizations such as
the United Nations and individuals such as
George Soros and Michael Bloomberg. The laws are
designed and intended to lead to the complete
ban and confiscation of all firearms. The Obama
administration is attempting to use tactics and
methods of gun control that will inflict major
damage to our 2nd Amendment before US citizens
even understand what has happened. Obama can
appear before the public and tell them that he
does not intend to pursue any legislation (in
the United States) that will lead to new gun
control laws, while cloaked in secrecy, his
Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, is
committing the US to international treaties and
foreign gun control laws.

What it means is that there will be no
publicized gun control debates in the media or
votes in Congress.

We will wake up one morning and find that the
United States has signed a treaty that prohibits
firearm and ammunition manufacturers from
selling to the American public.

We will wake up another morning and find that
the US has signed a treaty that prohibits any
transfer of firearm ownership. And then, we will
wake up yet another morning and find that the US
has signed a treaty that requires US citizens to
deliver any firearm they own to the local
government collection and destruction center or
face imprisonment. This is not a joke nor a
false warning. As sure as government health care
has been forced on us by the Obama
administration, so will gun control. Please
forward this message to others who may be
concerned about the direction in which our
country is headed. ... We are being led like a
lamb to the slaughter house. DON'T KEEP THIS -
SEND IT TO YOUR LIST.

Residents in the state of Louisiana are petitioning to secede from the U.S., residents in over 30 more states have filed requests with the White House to peaceably break from the union.

Furthermore, the Louisiana petition has topped 27,000 signatures, exceeding the threshold needed after which the White House has pledged to respond.

for Texas, one of the new states to join the fray, the signature count now tops 60,000.

The White House’s We the People website explains that once a petition reaches 25,000 signatures, it will be placed on a queue for response from the administration. The website also maintains a page for previous petitions that have received a White House response.

Joining Louisiana now are Alaska, Utah, Wyoming, California, Delaware, Nevada, Kansas, Ohio, South Dakota, West Virginia, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Oklahoma, Arkansas, South Carolina, Georgia, Missouri, Tennessee, Michigan, New York, Colorado, Oregon, New Jersey, North Dakota, Montana, Indiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, Florida, North Carolina, Alabama and Texas.

The Louisiana petition, which has served as a pattern for many of the new states, reads as follows: “We petition the Obama administration to: Peacefully grant the State of Louisiana to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government.”

It continues, “As the Founding Fathers of the United States of America made clear in the Declaration of Independence in 1776: ‘When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.’”

The petition concludes with a further quote from the Declaration of Independence: “‘Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and institute new Government.’”

There is more and more proof that the election for President has been tainted with fraud. Pennsylvania has counted more votes than were signed in for. Cincinnati has a full area of over 19,000 votes in ONE district where absolutely No One voted for Romney. Florida is once again having to recount votes.

Who REALLY won the election?? I doubt we will ever know.

Fraud and injustice is pre-eminent in our society these days.

How does it feel to know that Benghazi was not reported by the lame stream media before the election? Our government has refused to give us honesty and openness on Benghazi, yet they refused to issue help for the Ambassador and three other Americans who were begging for help for MONTHS before the attack that killed them all.

Hillary "can't testify due to TRAVEL plans!!?????

Get rid of Petraeus because he "had an affair"?? More like get rid of Petraeus so he won't testify about Benghazi.

I mean, come on now. Presidents have been having affairs since nearly the very start of our country, and other politicians have also been dipping their wicks where they don't belong, and none of them got canned. Americans have learned to just shake our heads and go on about our business, saying things like "typical Washington".

Fast and Furious will NEVER be honestly revealed, and Holder is going to just skip off into the sunset on that one.

Our so-called President has set up travel/vacation plans to visit Burma and other countries.

Meanwhile, the good folks in New York and New Jersey still do not have heat, electricity, water, sewers in operating order nor homes to live in. Obama saw fit to get in a photo op with Christie, and then has dropped all interest.

FEMA closed down DUE TO WEATHER. No one has talked about that little fact in the media, have they? Washington has done nothing to get FEMA moving to help these people. A prime example of Government at Work.

Our President is indeed going to raise taxes..........ACROSS THE BOARD.........and yet there is a faction of people who still get up in the mornings, face D.C. and bow and pray.

Nothing is being done about our unemployment, other than increasing it.

Companies are laying off or closing because they can't afford to keep up with the new taxes placed upon them and all the constant new regulations which prohibit their successful operation. I'm not talking about just the big companies. I am talking about SMALL businesses who are going down in alarming order.

We are now going to be stuck with the cost of Obama care, and socialized medicine. Doctors and nurses are leaving the fields in droves because of it. They can't afford to stay in practise either. So, being over 68 years old now and have a number of unpleasant things going on with my body which need surgery, I will (instead of surgeries) be given death counseling.

Christians cannot pray in public, but Muslims can.

Even if you THINK of voting for a white person, you are declared a racist. It doesn't matter WHY you want to vote for the individual of your choice: if a black candidate is also running, and you don't vote for him/her, you are a racist.

Such absolute nonsense!

And there's more........MUCH MORE.........happening to my beloved country. None of it good.

Perhaps seccession is the best choice for all of us.

We once started this country with nothing, and I am sure that Americans can do it again.

Leave Washington D.C. to itself, smoldering in its own caldron of immaturity, hate, lies, attacks, spending, self serving, petty, jealous dysfunction. It can be its own country.

I truly believe the States can do a much better job without Washington interfering.

Family Joy News

Many of you have been tracking and aware of my granddaughter, Ally, and her long journey of fighting cancer. Sometimes my blogs have been painful, sometimes wonderful, sometimes fun. Well, today is one of the BEST.

Today is the 4th anniversary of when Ally got her port taken out, and had an end to the chemo and steroid treatments. She passed her tests with flying colors!!!!


Ally is in her second year at MCLA, located in the Berkshires. It is a beautiful campus, and their living quarters are very nice. She loves it there. Originally, she was planning on majoring in English Lit, but lately is considering changing to Biology.

I tell her to not be in a hurry deciding what her major is, and to just get all the reqs out of the way. After all, looks like she will have a loooooong life, which is something we couldn't say four years ago.

We have one more year to go before she is officially declared cancer free. So don't stop your prayers yet!

Another great piece of news is about Gabriel, our grandson. Gabe turned his life around on June 12, 2012 by entering a drug and alcohol free way of living. He relocated October 3 to begin a new life. He is doing very well. He has finished the first portion of his education for Certified Nurse Assistant, and is now doing his clinical period. He likes his job and his life, happy to be a productive member of society at last.


We are thrilled to have "our" Gabe back!!

This year will be a very wonderful THANKS GIVING in our family. Hope all of yours is the same!

U.S. general: Obama paralyzed by fear

Now I understand! For years, many veterans and active military have been alarmed about the idiocy of the changes in battlefield aeromedical evacuation known as Dust Off. For reasons having nothing to do with patient care, Dust Off has been removed from the control of the professionals, the medics, and put under the control of amateurs, aviation staff officers, or ASOs. This is the first such change since the Civil War.

IndependentLivingBullion.comI document the unparalleled excellence of Dust Off, and the effects of the changes, in my book, “Dead Men Flying.” Needless to say, it was the most outstanding battlefield operating system of that war – some one million souls saved and unprecedented survival rates. No warrior of Vietnam is more revered than the Dust Off crews.

In the words of Gen. Creighton Abrams, former U.S. Army chief of staff and former supreme commander in Vietnam: “A special word about the Dust Offs … Courage above and beyond the call of duty was sort of routine to them. It was a daily thing, part of the way they lived. That’s the great part, and it meant so much to every last man who served there. Whether he ever got hurt or not, he knew Dust Off was there. It was a great thing for our people.”

Fast forward to current battlefields. We hear horror stories about patients waiting and dying because Dust Off didn’t launch or came too late. The launch standard in my unit in Vietnam was two minutes; today it is 15 minutes! Can anyone imagine a fire truck taking 15 minutes to get under way? I could go on and on, but one has to ask, why? Why the changes to an excellent, proven system?

The answer is the Obama-Panetta Doctrine. In response to the horrible abandonment of dying Americans in Benghazi, Defense Secretary Panetta said: “(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place.”

On its face, that is a remarkable, indeed incomprehensible, change from America’s doctrine in past wars. By that standard, there would have been no Normandy or Inchon. In fact, I can’t think of a war we fought in which we didn’t go into harm’s way without real-time information or to save lives – something the president refused to do in Benghazi. Dust Off would never launch in Vietnam under that doctrine.

Medal of Honor recipient Gen. Patrick Brady tells the inspiring, miraculous story of his days as a Dust Off air ambulance pilot in Vietnam. Get his newly reissued book, autographed: “Dead Men Flying: Victory in Viet Nam.”

To fully understand the doctrinal change, one has to understand President Obama. He has a dearth of understanding of our military and military matters. We hear he is uncomfortable in the presence of ranking military and seldom meets with them. He is not a person who can make decisions, and he takes an extraordinary amount of time to do so, leading to such unseemly labels for a commander in chief as “ditherer in chief.”

President Obama may have set records for voting “present” on important issues. He cowers from crisis decisions. He is a politician who thinks only in terms of votes and his image. Although I was a psychology major back in the day (I’d love to hear a professional analyze risk and Obama), I won’t try to define his insides, but I believe he is risk-averse – fearful of risk – and that is the basis of the Obama-Panetta doctrine.

This aversion for risk dominates Dust Off rescue operations where, in addition to an unconscionable reaction time, risk assessment is the primary consideration for mission launch – not patient care. In two years flying Dust Off in Vietnam, I never heard that term, nor did any Dust pilot I know. The ASOs, remote from the battle, have developed time-consuming algorithms to analyze risk while the patient bleeds, something that’s impossible to do by anyone other than the pilot and the ground forces at the scene.

And Obama’s terror of risk contributed to the massacre of Americans by terrorists in Benghazi. We hear that the president did not even convene the Counterterrorism Security Group while the Benghazi terrorist massacre was visually and verbally available in real time. That is like ignoring FEMA during Hurricane Sandy. But once you bring in a group labeled anti-terrorist, you have to acknowledge terror exists, something the president is loath to do.

My veteran friends are horrified by the Obama-Panetta doctrine. At least 359 retired flag officers support Mitt Romney – only five that I know of support Obama. Some 150 former prisoners of war also support Romney; I know of none who support Obama.

America needs to listen to these veterans. They understand leadership. They know how to deal with risk in war. They would not want this man with them in combat or crisis. They never left a needy comrade behind. Obama did.

Exercise your Voting Rights

Have you given thought to not voting? I know people have said for years that "our vote doesn't count anyway", and as a result, have chosen to not vote at all.

I wonder if they have ever given thought to how many countries have gone into battles and wars over the right to vote? Remember in Iraq, the inked fingers on the women who voted? They risked life and limb to vote.

Our forefathers escaped England due to not having the right to vote, and have taxes raised upon them with no say, nor any concern as to their living conditions and ability to pay those raised taxes.

As a result, America was born.

We do have the right..........indeed the DUTY to vote.........here in America. Our vote DOES count, even if our chosen candidate does not win.

It is a plain and simple reason why we must vote.

Because, if we chose NOT to vote, it is simple. We will SURRENDER THE RIGHT to vote.

And so, Dear Americans, no matter what else you do today, get out and VOTE.

And then thank God that you live in a country where you CAN vote!!
