Marxist Harry Belafonte Recommends Obama Imprison Conservatives

Singer, actor, and known Marxist, Harry Belafonte was on with his dear friend Al Sharpton this week, when he recommended imprisoning those who disagree with the Obama agenda.

Belafonte told Sharpton what he thinks Barack Obama ought to do with his opposition:

“The only thing left for Barack Obama to do is to work like a third world dictator and put all these guys in jail!”

Since he is dear friends with third world dictators, such as Hugo Chavez, it is not surprising that he would admire the dictatorial regimes that jail dissenters.

Unfortunately, what Belafonte, and other Marxists residing in the US fail to understand, is that the US is not designed as a dictatorship. Ironically, someone who made music and films as a source of presumably high income, wishes to have the very culture that squashes creativity, art forms, freedom and the pursuit of happiness and ones own destiny.

Much like Sharpton and Chavez, Belafonte has elevated himself over all other citizens, by believing that this form of government would establish that he is above the very treatment he prescribes for all in the name of Social justice and redistribution of wealth and forced compliance.

Now I have a number of CD's of Harry Belafonte that I used to love listening to. Now that he has gone totally against our government, and supports total Marxism, I seriously doubt I will ever again be able to listen to him with pleasure.

Isn't it ironic how the people who "have made it" in our country NOW decide that everyone else should be under Marxist Socialist rule, but they never come forth with giving away THEIR money or property??

We have an open door policy in this country. I would happily show Mr. Belafonte the door, and close it gently after he walks out. He should go live in a country that has government to his liking, and quit benefitting from ours while making spurious remarks about it.

True Story of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

A man named

Bob May, depressed and brokenhearted, stared out his drafty

apartment window into the chilling December


His 4-year-old daughter Barbara sat on his lap

quietly sobbing. Bob's wife, Evelyn, was dying of cancer.

Little Barbara couldn't understand why her mommy could never

come home. Barbara looked up into her dad's eyes and asked,

"Why isn't Mommy just like everybody else's Mommy?" Bob's

jaw tightened and his eyes welled with tears. Her question

brought waves of grief, but also of anger. It had been the

story of Bob's life. Life always had to be different for


Small when he was a kid, Bob was often bullied

by other boys. He was too little at the time to compete in

sports. He was often called names he'd rather not remember.

From childhood, Bob was different and never seemed to fit

in. Bob did complete college, married his loving wife and

was grateful to get his job as a copywriter at Montgomery

Ward during the Great Depression. Then he was blessed with

his little girl. But it was all short-lived. Evelyn's bout

with cancer stripped them of all their savings and now Bob

and his daughter were forced to live in a two-room apartment

in the Chicago slums. Evelyn died just days before Christmas

in 1938.

Bob struggled to give hope to his child, for

whom he couldn't even afford to buy a Christmas gift. But if

he couldn't buy a gift, he was determined to make one - a

storybook! Bob had created an animal character in his own

mind and told the animal's story to little Barbara to give

her comfort and hope. Again and again Bob told the story,

embellishing it more with each telling. Who was the

character? What was the story all about? The story Bob May

created was his own autobiography in fable form. The

character he created was a misfit outcast like he was. The

name of the character? A little reindeer named Rudolph, with

a big shiny nose. Bob finished the book just in time to give

it to his little girl on Christmas Day. But the story

doesn't end there.


general manager of Montgomery Ward caught wind of the little

storybook and offered Bob May a nominal fee to purchase the

rights to print the book. Wards went on to

print, “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed

Reindeer” and

distribute it to children visiting Santa Claus in their

stores. By 1946 Wards had printed and distributed more than

six million copies of Rudolph. That same year, a major

publisher wanted to purchase the rights from Wards to print

an updated version of the book.

In an unprecedented

gesture of kindness, the CEO of Wards returned all rights

back to Bob May. The book became a best seller. Many toy and

marketing deals followed and Bob May, now remarried with a

growing family, became wealthy from the story he created to

comfort his grieving daughter. But the story doesn't end

there either.


brother-in-law, Johnny Marks, made a song adaptation to

Rudolph. Though the song was turned down by such popular

vocalists as Bing Crosby and DinahShore , it was recorded by

the singing cowboy, Gene Autry. "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed

Reindeer" was released in 1949 and became a phenomenal

success, selling more records than any other Christmas song,

with the exception of "White Christmas."

The gift of love that Bob May

created for his daughter so long ago kept on returning back

to bless him again and again. And Bob May learned the

lesson, just like his dear friend Rudolph, that being

different isn't so bad. In fact, being different can be a

2nd Amendment Rights

constitution against all enemies -- foreign and domestic.
Last time I looked... 2nd amendment was part of the

*WASHINGTON (Reuters)* - The United States
reversed policy on Wednesday and said it would
back launching talks on a treaty to regulate
arms sales as long as the talks operated by
consensus, a stance critics said gave every
nation a veto. The decision, announced in a
statement released by the U.S. State Department,
overturns the position of former President
George W. Bush's administration, which had
opposed such a treaty on the grounds that
national controls were better. On Wednesday
Obama Took the First Major Step in a Plan to Ban
All Firearms in the United States.

The Obama administration intends to force gun
control and a complete ban on all weapons for US
citizens through the signing of international
treaties with foreign nations. By signing
international treaties on gun control, the Obama
administration can use the US State Department
to bypass the normal legislative process in
Congress. Once the US Government signs these
international treaties, all US citizens will be
subject to those gun laws created by foreign
governments. These are laws that have been
developed and promoted by organizations such as
the United Nations and individuals such as
George Soros and Michael Bloomberg. The laws are
designed and intended to lead to the complete
ban and confiscation of all firearms. The Obama
administration is attempting to use tactics and
methods of gun control that will inflict major
damage to our 2nd Amendment before US citizens
even understand what has happened. Obama can
appear before the public and tell them that he
does not intend to pursue any legislation (in
the United States) that will lead to new gun
control laws, while cloaked in secrecy, his
Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, is
committing the US to international treaties and
foreign gun control laws.

What it means is that there will be no
publicized gun control debates in the media or
votes in Congress.

We will wake up one morning and find that the
United States has signed a treaty that prohibits
firearm and ammunition manufacturers from
selling to the American public.

We will wake up another morning and find that
the US has signed a treaty that prohibits any
transfer of firearm ownership. And then, we will
wake up yet another morning and find that the US
has signed a treaty that requires US citizens to
deliver any firearm they own to the local
government collection and destruction center or
face imprisonment. This is not a joke nor a
false warning. As sure as government health care
has been forced on us by the Obama
administration, so will gun control. Please
forward this message to others who may be
concerned about the direction in which our
country is headed. ... We are being led like a
lamb to the slaughter house. DON'T KEEP THIS -

This is the link to the NRA's legislative page which explains that the day after the presidential election Obama administration pushed forward their backing for a UN resolution to first track (gun registry) then ban all firearms, large or small, individually owned or otherwise.

Don't kid yourself that the libs worldwide don't want anyone but themselves to have access to firearms.

I am the NRA and no one is taking my firearms from me. Ever.

    There is no legal way to bypass the 2nd Amendment except by the passage of a new Amendment to the Constitution that voids it or a Supreme Court decision that completely reinterprets it.

No President - of any party - can enact "a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations" for the above reason.

No treaty can bypass the normal Congressional procedures as all treaties have to be passed by a 2/3 vote of the Senate before they are binding and ratified.

The UN Arms Trade Treaty (which I am assuming you are referring to) has nothing to do with restricting the ownership of guns in the USA, or any nation. It is concerned with stopping the illegal international arms trade by closing loopholes in export laws. The treaty specifically upholds the right of sovereign nations to decide what is allowed within their own borders.

ETA : Further, the USA has not signed the Treaty and specifically declined to vote on the initial draft (not a final version) in July; the next round of talks is not scheduled until sometime in 2013.

We are all entitled to have and share our own opinions. So while I disagree wholeheartedly I do appreciate that you care enough about our country to share yours. I think we do have a responsibility to verify for ourselves as many of our journalists, sadly, cut corners or spin the "news" to support personal or corporate agendas.

Residents in the state of Louisiana are petitioning to secede from the U.S., residents in over 30 more states have filed requests with the White House to peaceably break from the union.

Furthermore, the Louisiana petition has topped 27,000 signatures, exceeding the threshold needed after which the White House has pledged to respond.

for Texas, one of the new states to join the fray, the signature count now tops 60,000.

The White House’s We the People website explains that once a petition reaches 25,000 signatures, it will be placed on a queue for response from the administration. The website also maintains a page for previous petitions that have received a White House response.

Joining Louisiana now are Alaska, Utah, Wyoming, California, Delaware, Nevada, Kansas, Ohio, South Dakota, West Virginia, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Oklahoma, Arkansas, South Carolina, Georgia, Missouri, Tennessee, Michigan, New York, Colorado, Oregon, New Jersey, North Dakota, Montana, Indiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, Florida, North Carolina, Alabama and Texas.

The Louisiana petition, which has served as a pattern for many of the new states, reads as follows: “We petition the Obama administration to: Peacefully grant the State of Louisiana to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government.”

It continues, “As the Founding Fathers of the United States of America made clear in the Declaration of Independence in 1776: ‘When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.’”

The petition concludes with a further quote from the Declaration of Independence: “‘Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and institute new Government.’”

There is more and more proof that the election for President has been tainted with fraud. Pennsylvania has counted more votes than were signed in for. Cincinnati has a full area of over 19,000 votes in ONE district where absolutely No One voted for Romney. Florida is once again having to recount votes.

Who REALLY won the election?? I doubt we will ever know.

Fraud and injustice is pre-eminent in our society these days.

How does it feel to know that Benghazi was not reported by the lame stream media before the election? Our government has refused to give us honesty and openness on Benghazi, yet they refused to issue help for the Ambassador and three other Americans who were begging for help for MONTHS before the attack that killed them all.

Hillary "can't testify due to TRAVEL plans!!?????

Get rid of Petraeus because he "had an affair"?? More like get rid of Petraeus so he won't testify about Benghazi.

I mean, come on now. Presidents have been having affairs since nearly the very start of our country, and other politicians have also been dipping their wicks where they don't belong, and none of them got canned. Americans have learned to just shake our heads and go on about our business, saying things like "typical Washington".

Fast and Furious will NEVER be honestly revealed, and Holder is going to just skip off into the sunset on that one.

Our so-called President has set up travel/vacation plans to visit Burma and other countries.

Meanwhile, the good folks in New York and New Jersey still do not have heat, electricity, water, sewers in operating order nor homes to live in. Obama saw fit to get in a photo op with Christie, and then has dropped all interest.

FEMA closed down DUE TO WEATHER. No one has talked about that little fact in the media, have they? Washington has done nothing to get FEMA moving to help these people. A prime example of Government at Work.

Our President is indeed going to raise taxes..........ACROSS THE BOARD.........and yet there is a faction of people who still get up in the mornings, face D.C. and bow and pray.

Nothing is being done about our unemployment, other than increasing it.

Companies are laying off or closing because they can't afford to keep up with the new taxes placed upon them and all the constant new regulations which prohibit their successful operation. I'm not talking about just the big companies. I am talking about SMALL businesses who are going down in alarming order.

We are now going to be stuck with the cost of Obama care, and socialized medicine. Doctors and nurses are leaving the fields in droves because of it. They can't afford to stay in practise either. So, being over 68 years old now and have a number of unpleasant things going on with my body which need surgery, I will (instead of surgeries) be given death counseling.

Christians cannot pray in public, but Muslims can.

Even if you THINK of voting for a white person, you are declared a racist. It doesn't matter WHY you want to vote for the individual of your choice: if a black candidate is also running, and you don't vote for him/her, you are a racist.

Such absolute nonsense!

And there's more........MUCH MORE.........happening to my beloved country. None of it good.

Perhaps seccession is the best choice for all of us.

We once started this country with nothing, and I am sure that Americans can do it again.

Leave Washington D.C. to itself, smoldering in its own caldron of immaturity, hate, lies, attacks, spending, self serving, petty, jealous dysfunction. It can be its own country.

I truly believe the States can do a much better job without Washington interfering.

    My son is having a hard time finding a permanent job now that he has graduated from college. He's keeping his job working with Jimmie Johns in the meantime. Now we get to worry about my husband getting laid off with Caterpillar in the next year. They've already started rolling layoffs. I'm afraid its only going to get worse. We just keep praying and we take it a day at a time. There isn't much we can just as one family, but we do what we can while we try to save money and get our house paid off so we have very little debt - just in case.

    The SO and I were talking about these very things last night. It's a frightening world we live in and made more so with every day that passes. I'm thinking Cafe Au Lait in the French Quarter..

On a more somber note, I read an article a few days ago that speculated the job loss generated as a fallout from the Obamacare could exceed 10,000,000... People everywhere are already being laid off. The company I work for is wondering how best to keep things going, but Powers that Be have already said layoffs and closures are in store for us.

Family Joy News

Many of you have been tracking and aware of my granddaughter, Ally, and her long journey of fighting cancer. Sometimes my blogs have been painful, sometimes wonderful, sometimes fun. Well, today is one of the BEST.

Today is the 4th anniversary of when Ally got her port taken out, and had an end to the chemo and steroid treatments. She passed her tests with flying colors!!!!

Ally is in her second year at MCLA, located in the Berkshires. It is a beautiful campus, and their living quarters are very nice. She loves it there. Originally, she was planning on majoring in English Lit, but lately is considering changing to Biology.

I tell her to not be in a hurry deciding what her major is, and to just get all the reqs out of the way. After all, looks like she will have a loooooong life, which is something we couldn't say four years ago.

We have one more year to go before she is officially declared cancer free. So don't stop your prayers yet!

Another great piece of news is about Gabriel, our grandson. Gabe turned his life around on June 12, 2012 by entering a drug and alcohol free way of living. He relocated October 3 to begin a new life. He is doing very well. He has finished the first portion of his education for Certified Nurse Assistant, and is now doing his clinical period. He likes his job and his life, happy to be a productive member of society at last.

We are thrilled to have "our" Gabe back!!

This year will be a very wonderful THANKS GIVING in our family. Hope all of yours is the same!

Life is GOOD!!!
