Lockheed is going to lay off 123,000

Tuesday, October 30, 2012

I did check this out. The White House has asked Lockheed-Martin NOT to issue notices of lay-offs until December (after the election)

Can it be anymore clear who we are dealing with? He will do anything to get re-elected and if he does....God help America.

Lockheed Martin is going to lay off 123,000 defense workers due to Obama's downsizing of the military. This hit the Drudge report yesterday. This is true!

The law requires Lockheed to give 60-day notice to all to-be-fired employees within 60 days. That drop dead date would be November 1st. Since this would be bad for the election, Obama has promised that our government would cover all Lockheed severance packages to fired employees if Lockheed would not release the names and locations of those losing their jobs until after the election!

Send this to all you know since it will never show up in the news. This posting is from a defense contract newspaper called The Hill. Read details below:

This says it all!!

Hey, Nofearmongering........how about telling that stuff to the people who WORK there and know it is coming?! This has been all over the news, too, even on the far left channels.

First off Lockheed has 123,000 workers in total and I think you would agree that even if sequestration were to happen, they will not have to layoff their entire workforce. The real number would be closer to 10,000 based on what I am not sure but that was the number Lockheed gave. The reason the number 123,000 has come up is because nobody knows exactly what sequestration will actually do, what contracts will be effected or even what contractors will be effected so they said they would have to send notices to almost their entire workforce to cover their butts in case they had to lay anyone off and comply with WARN notices. The DOL came back and said under the law, mere conjecture does not trigger the obligation for WARN notices. This all was said in June/July 2012. Further more, the DOD has indicated no contract actions on or about 2 January, 2013, and that any action to adjust funding levels on contracts as a result of sequestration would likely not occur for several months after jan 2 leaving plenty of time for WARN notices without wasting States' resources in undertaking employment assistance activities where none are needed and create unnecessary anxiety and uncertainty for workers not to mention driving their stock into the ground which I assure you Lockheed was prob most concerned with.

Lets also point out that nobody expected we would even get to the point of thinking about the actuality of sequestration as it was put in as means of prodding Congress into coming up with a concrete plan for addressing the deficit issue which they haven't been able to do.

Joe Biden to Father of Former Navy SEAL Killed in Benghazi: ‘Did Your Son Always Have Balls the Size of Cue Balls?’

A bombshell new report says that the SEALS were told to “stand down” when they heard gunshots at the ambassador’s compound, and that three requests for aid were denied. get the shocking details here.

The father of one of the former Navy SEALs killed in the terrorist attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya says President Barack Obama wouldn’t even look him in the eye and Vice President Joe Biden was disrespectful during the ceremony when his son’s body returned to America. He also says the White House’s story on the attack doesn’t pass the smell test.

Charles Woods, father of Tyrone Woods, called into “The Glenn Beck Program” on TheBlazeTV Thursday and recounted his interactions with the president, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Biden at the ceremony for the Libya victims at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. He told host Glenn Beck that what they told him, coupled with new reports that indicate the Obama administration knew very good and well, almost immediately, that a terrorist attack was occurring in Benghazi, make him certain that the American people are not getting the whole truth.

Vice President Biden, as he has become known to do, reportedly made a wildly inappropriate comment to the father who had just lost his hero son.

Woods said Biden came over to his family and asked in a “loud and boisterous” voice, “Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?”

“Are these the words of someone who is sorry?” said Woods.

The grieving father also described his brief encounter with President Obama during the ceremony for the Libya victims.

“When he finally came over to where we were, I could tell that he was rather conflicted, a person who was not at peace with himself,” Woods said. “Shaking hands with him, quite frankly, was like shaking hands with a dead fish. His face was pointed towards me but he would not look me in the eye, his eyes were over my shoulder.”

“I could tell that he was not sorry,” he added. “He had no remorse.”

Beck said he wanted to give the president “the benefit of the doubt,” and asked Woods how he could be sure that Obama wasn’t just uncomfortable or nervous during their conversation. Woods said it was Obama’s “demeanor.”

Hillary Clinton’s comments to Woods raise even more questions about the White House’s official story on the Benghazi attack, which has already been extremely inconsistent.

After apologizing for his loss, Woods said Clinton told him that the U.S. would “make sure that the person who made that film is arrested and prosecuted.”

Obviously, Clinton was referring to the anti-Muslim YouTube video that the Obama administration spent nearly two weeks blaming for the attack. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice, Clinton and the president himself all blamed the video at various points. Beck pointed out that the White House is now trying to claim that it has always considered terrorism as the cause of the attack.

“When she said that, I could tell that she was not telling me the truth,” Woods said about Clinton.

Watch part I of the interview with Beck here via TheBlazeTV:

Reading another State Department email that further calls into question the U.S. response to the attack, Beck revealed that the U.S. government was made aware that the compound in Benghazi was under attack by “mortar fire,” hardly a sign of a spontaneous protest.

“The question that I had in my mind,” Woods replied, “was why did we not do something to protect our forces?”

“We didn’t even dispatch anybody,” Beck lamented.

“You released the information that the White House within minutes of the attack, watched in real time the events unfolding,” Woods told Beck earlier in the program. “They denied the pleas for help and they watched my son die.”

Woods went on to read the following statement, in honor of his son:

“I want to honor my son, Ty Woods, who responded to the cries for help and voluntarily sacrificed his life to protect the lives of other Americans. In the last few days it has become public knowledge that within minutes of the first bullet being fired the White House knew these heroes would be slaughtered if immediate air support was denied. Apparently, C-130s were ready to respond immediately. In less than an hour, the perimeters could have been secured and American lives could have been saved. After seven hours fighting numerically superior forces, my son’s life was sacrificed because of the White House’s decision. This has nothing to do with politics, this has to do with integrity and honor. My son was a true American hero. We need more heroes today. My son showed moral courage. This is an opportunity for the person or persons who made the decision to sacrifice my son’s life to stand up.”

Tears in his eyes, Beck told Woods that his son was not even there for security purposes but after hearing cries for help he voluntarily protected his fellow Americans, knowing his life would be put in danger. Beck called Tyrone Woods a “hero” multiple times throughout the show.

“I am sorry for your loss, and I know there are millions of Americans that are sorry for your loss,” Beck concluded.

Dear friends who happen to be brothers, fellow MPs and now veterans are finally home safe! All of America's soldiers should NEVER need to worry about whether or not we've got their back! How many soldiers have died with all of our love and support~that didn't last to the governments decisions to have their backs too!

Not just ignore the situation, but to deny the situation, blame it on someone else (a standard mantra they use!) and then go party with the "pretty people" in Vegas. My SO and I are so sickened as is everyone we talk to. It's time to enact some change we can believe in of our own. My heart aches for the families of the victims of this president and his cabinet. They weren't killed by terrorists from outside the country, they were killed by their own from here.

Does voter fraud actually exist?

Monday, October 15, 2012

If you ask the Obama administration, Democratic lawmakers or the left-leaning media, they often argue it’s a myth concocted by Republicans to suppress Democratic turnout.

Even U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has called voter fraud “a problem that does not really exist.”

But what you won’t see in the headlines of many of the nation’s leading newspapers is the series of explosive, eye-opening investigations by patriot James O’Keefe and his nonprofit organization, Project Veritas.

In scandalous footage captured by a Project Veritas videographer, a top Obama campaign worker gleefully helps an undercover reporter cast a ballot for the president in two states. The reporter identifies herself as an Obama supporter who has illegally registered to vote in Florida and Texas and plans to vote in both places.

Organizing for America Regional Field Director Stephanie Caballero – a salaried employee of the Democratic National Committee in Houston, Texas – offers to print out a ballot the reporter can mail to Florida.

“Oh my God, this is so funny,” Caballero says. “It’s cool though.”

She even offered advice on what to do if caught by authorities: “If anyone checks, say ‘I don’t know.’”

Caballero was fired after the video’s release, but only after House Judiciary Committee chairman Rep. Lamar Smith demanded the Obama campaign and DNC terminate staffers who engage in voter fraud.

However, this was no isolated incident. Project Veritas’ latest effort in Texas, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut shows Obama campaign workers helping people who say they want to commit election fraud.

In his April 15 column , he wrote about similar investigations in Minnesota, New Hampshire and Vermont, where O’Keefe obtained election ballots by using celebrity names like Tom Brady, Tim Tebow and even some of the 1.8 million people who are deceased but still registered voters. In fact, more video proof from Holder’s own voting precinct in Washington, D.C., revealed voter fraud is alive and well in the nation’s capital.

Just last week, O’Keefe declared, “We’ve got tapes across the country that we’re in the process of releasing that show that really nobody, nobody said, ‘This is a problem. We can’t help you with this.’ It’s always, ‘We’ll look the other way. We’ll keep our mouth shut. Here you go. Not a problem.’ And at the highest levels locally, the people who run these offices not having an ultimate problem with it is, I think, criminal.”

O’Keefe has promised to release more videos as long as the Obama campaign, Congress, governors, attorneys general and the mainstream media continue to downplay and ignore his investigations.

Obama campaign staffers are only doing what they are told and emulating what they see as right and acceptable from their leaders at the top. They are following orders. The old saying, “Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future,” could not be more true.

As if that isn’t enough to undermine the integrity of our elections process, the Obama administration is doing its best to nullify state laws enacted to prevent voter fraud.

At least 23 states currently have or are considering laws to require voter IDs, tighten registration requirements or remove ineligible voters from registration rolls.

As WND reported, the Advancement Project – a powerful group with leaders who have donated tens of thousands of dollars to the Obama campaign and DNC – has also been waging a war against voter ID laws.

These common-sense laws safeguard election integrity by simply requiring a voter to present identification before casting a ballot, and most of our citizens approve of them. According to a new Washington Post poll, voter ID laws have support from 74 percent of Americans.

It’s no wonder these laws receive so much support from the public. The problem of voter fraud is widespread:

•In August, the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office sent out 4,000 letters to people on its voter rolls who are possible noncitizens ineligible to vote.

•In September, the Florida Department of State identified 198 suspected noncitizens who were illegally registered to vote.
•In two Ohio counties, the number of people currently registered to vote exceeds the voting-age population, according to the Columbus Dispatch. At least one out of every five registered Ohio voters is likely to be ineligible to cast a ballot.

•True the Vote, a Houston-based election integrity group, has notified 160 counties across the nation that there are more voters on registration rolls than eligible voters in each county.
•In February, the Pew Center said it found 2.8 million people with active registrations in more than one state.

•According to Project Veritas, investigators contacted the North Carolina Board of Elections and presented it with a list of 30,000 residents who died between 2002 and 2012 and are still registered to vote. (And that’s in a state Obama won by only 14,000 votes in 2008!)
Election fraudsters often get away with these tactics because good citizens don’t get involved in efforts to ensure Americans enjoy a secure system of elections.

Fortunately for Americans who wish to preserve election integrity in our nation, there are ways you can help stop voter fraud. What can you do?

•Participate in the process! America needs good, honest citizens at its polls, so volunteer to be a poll watcher in your precinct. You can also sign up for True the Vote’s poll volunteer program.

•Speak up when you encounter a case of possible voter fraud, manipulation or intimidation. Report suspected fraud to election officials, members of the media and your lawmakers.

•Support voter ID laws in your state.

•Demand that your representatives in Congress exercise their constitutional duty of oversight and investigate cases of voter fraud across the nation.

•Put pressure on your state lawmakers to require verification of voters’ citizenship status using the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements database, which is used to check immigration status for federal-benefit programs. In states where fraud is rampant, lawmakers must be pressured to establish task forces to investigate this serious problem.

•State and federal judges have blocked or postponed implementation of voter ID laws in South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin. It’s time to take a stand and pressure every governor and state attorney general to fight to have such voter ID rulings overturned because of the pervasiveness of this problem. The system cannot be trusted!

•Go to EndVoterFraudNow.com and sign Project Veritas’ open letter to Attorney General Eric Holder demanding that he “ensure enforcement of all federal and state laws passed to protect the integrity of America’s electoral system – effective immediately.”

•Finally, send this information to every voter you know to give it maximum possible impact and help safeguard the integrity of America’s election process.

Does voter fraud actually exist? Yes! And it threatens the very fabric of our constitutional republic.

In America, voting is a privilege that belongs only to citizens who are qualified to vote. We have the right to safeguard it at all costs.

And I haven't even MENTIONED that some of our troops deployed overseas will NOT be able to vote at ALL. This is PREPOSTEROUS!!!!!!

In GOD we Trust............NOT the current way of government!!!

Certainly both parties have been guilty of voting fraud, but the question is, why does only one party try to correct the problem while the other upholds the fraud as something absolutely crucial to their victory in November? While I'm asking, just why does Attorney General Eric Holder and his so-called Department of Justice actively support and enable illegal activities?
By the way, I do volunteer work at several community helping agencies who require ID from our clients to receive services and the surprising thing is that the minorities have no problem producing picture ID in order to receive financial help. The idea that just because you are a minority, you will not have ID is a total load of malarky--unless you are an illegal alien and ineligible to vote anyway.

I have voted in Florida since 1978 and have had no problem showing an ID to vote. What is the big deal? Everyone should have an ID of some sort. I also live in the panhandle of Florida and we are in central time. In 2000, the news stations called the election saying that Gore had won before our polls even closed in the Panhandle. We had friends that didn't bother to vote because of it. But thankfullly, Bush won. Gore as president would have been totally awful.

I just finished a section in my law class about voter fraud... it is very prevalent, and grossly underestimated and has been around forever.

No matter which side people are on, I'm glad you brought this information up so people can do their own research (and hopefully they'll research their candidates as well) and make an informed decision and choice next month.

Why did you quote only selective fraud? BTW, I live in FL and we have had voter ID for a long long time. My county's largest employer is Georgia Pacific and all the employees received information from the president of the company saying a good portion of their employees will be laid off if the president is reelected, They also sent a list of all democrats running for office and advised them how much better off everyone would be without them. I do believe this is a veiled threat of vote Rebuplican or lose your job.

"Koch Industries, other CEOs warn employees of layoffs if Obama is reelected"

I know this one is true because my neighbor works at GP and showed it to us!

"The Republican Party fired a voter registration contractor this week after the firm turned in illegible, incorrect, and falsified voter registration forms to Florida election officials"

This is from the Christian Monitor, hardly a left wing "puppet". The Republicans did the right thing with firing the company and bringing charges against them for voter fraud. But BOTH sides do it.

I'm not trying to change anyone's mind. You are entitled to your opinion as am I. It would just be nice to fair and give both sides in such a serious matter as voter fraud no matter a party affiliation or not.
