Shocking News from ABCs Diane Sawyer

I-635 in Texas is being rebuilt with underground tolls from I-35 to I-45

and is contracted to a CHINESE firm for over $5 billion.

Diane Sawyer reporting on U.S. bridge projects going to the Chinese.... NOT Americans.

The bridges are right here in the U.S. and yet Obama has approved for Chinese contractors to come in and do the work.

What about jobs for Americans???

Watch this video. It doesn't take long to view.

This one should be tough for the supporters of the current regime to swallow....AND it comes from ABC NEWS

U.S.A. Bridges and Roads Being Built by Chinese Firms

Shocking to say the least! This video is a jaw-dropper that will make you sick.

(It was also shocking that ABC was actually reporting this story.)

The lead-in with Obama promising jobs in the U.S. by improving our infrastructure is so typical of all his promises!

Our tax dollars are at work - for CHINA !!!

I pray all the unemployed see this and cast their votes accordingly in 2012!

Why Mitt Romney is "Unlikable"

Sunday, September 02, 2012

Go see the movie "2016".

You'll say 'wow' after reading this.

Sorry to tell you all but --A lot of truth is in this:

A lot is being said in the media about Mitt Romney not being "likable" or that he doesn't "relate well" to people. Frankly, I struggled to understand why.

So after much research, we have come up with a Top Ten Reasons To Dislike Mitt Romney:

1. Drop-dead, collar-ad handsome with gracious, statesmanlike aura. Looks like every central casting's #1 choice for Commander-in-Chief.

2. Been married to ONE woman his entire life, and has been faithful to her, including through her bouts with breast cancer and MS.

3. No scandals or skeletons in his closet.?? (How boring is that?)

4. Can't speak in a fake, southern, "black preacher voice" when necessary.

5. Highly intelligent.?? Graduated cum laude from both Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School...and by the way, his academic records are NOT sealed.

6. Doesn't smoke or drink alcohol, and has never done drugs, not even in the counter-culture age when he went to college.?? Too square for today's America?

7. Represents an America of "yesterday", where people believed in God, went to Church, didn't screw around, worked hard, and became a SUCCESS!

8. Has a family of five great sons... and none of them have police records or are in drug rehab.?? But of course, they were raised by a stay-at-home mom, and that "choice" deserves America's scorn.

9. Oh yes.....he's a MORMON.?? We need to be very afraid of that very strange religion that teaches its members to be clean-living, patriotic, fiscally conservative, charitable, self-reliant, and honest.

10. And one more point.....pundits say because of his wealth, he can't relate to ordinary Americans. I guess that's because he made that money HIMSELF.....as opposed to marrying it or inheriting it from Dad. Apparently, he didn't understand that actually working at a job and earning your own money made you unrelatable to Americans.

His full Name is: Willard Mitt Romney

He was Born: March 12, 1947 and is 65 years old.

His Father: George W. Romney, former Governor of the State of Michigan

He was raised in Bloomfield Hills , Michigan

He is Married to Ann Romney since 1969; they five children.

B.A. from Brigham Young University,

J.D. and M.B.A. from Harvard University

Mormon - The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints

Working Background:?

After high school, he spent 30 months in France as a Mormon missionary.

After going to both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School simultaneously, he passed the Michigan bar exam, but never worked as an attorney.

In 1984, he co-founded Bain Capital a private equity investment firm, one of the largest such firms in the United States.

In 1994, he ran for Senator of Massachusetts and lost to Ted Kennedy.

He was President and CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

In 2002, he was elected Governor of the State of Massachusetts where he eliminated a 1.5 billion deficit.

Some Interesting Facts about Romney:

Bain Capital, starting with one small office supply store
in Massachusetts, turned it into Staples; now over
2,000 stores employing 90,000 people.

Bain Capital also worked to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again, with companies like:
Domino's, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel,
Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama,
Home Depot Supply and many others.

He was an unpaid volunteer campaign worker for his dad's gubernatorial campaign 1 year.

He was an unpaid intern in his dad's governor'soffice for eight years.

He was an unpaid bishop and state president of his church for ten years.

He was an unpaid President of the Salt Lake Olympic Committee for three years.

He took no salary and was the unpaid Governor of Massachusetts for four years.

He gave his entire inheritance from his father to charity.

Mitt Romney is one of the wealthiest self-made men in our country but has given more back to its citizens in terms of money, service and time than most men.

And in 2011 Mitt Romney gave over $4 million to charity,
almost 19% of his income.... Just for comparison purposes,
Obama gave 1% and Joe Biden gave $300 or .0013%.

Mitt Romney is Trustworthy:

He will show us his birth certificate

He will show us his high school and college transcripts.

He will show us his social security card.

He will show us his law degree.

He will show us his draft notice.

He will show us his medical records.

He will show us he has nothing to hide.

Mitt Romney's background, experience and trustworthiness show him to be a great leader and an excellent citizen for President of the United States.

With a resume like this who would ever hire him?

You may think that Romney may not be the best representative the Republicans could have selected.?? At least I know what religion he is, and that he won't desecrate the flag, bow down to foreign powers, or practice fiscal irresponsibility.
I know he has the ability to turn this financial debacle that the current regime has gotten us into. We won't like all the things necessary to recover from this debt, but someone with Romney's background can do it.

But, on the minus side, he never was a "Community Organizer", never took drugs or smoked pot, never got drunk, did not associate with communistsor terrorists, nor did he attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn the US.

It pays to be an informed voter, and all the above is true, and is open information as proof to any one who has questions about Romney.

Won't it be refreshing to have a President whom we KNOW has character and is decent??!!

... I don't vote..... But being a cult researcher... You should look more into what Mormons believe.. Because other than the things you listed above.. There's some spooky beliefs they have. But I wouldn't use religion on the basis of voting... Just throwing that out there, lol...

I appreciated knowing these things. I have to agree that many Americans don't seem to want honesty, or integrity, or an open book on his life. His sons interview about him, folks aren't afraid to share what they know about him. Has he probably made a mistake or two in his life, but we will know about it or we already do...

I don't agree with his religion but I don't have to, he will be honest if he is given the opportunity...if Americans can choose honesty...this is going to be an interesting election and coming years...May God bless the USA.

Thank you for the information. I am still unsure who I am going to vote for. I watched the Republican Convention and I will watch the Democratic Convention. Then I will decide who I want to vote for. But at this time, I am unsure of either candidate.

I would vote for the most unlikeable man--or woman--in the country as long as he showed enough reality contact to realize that there is no free lunch, that sooner or later we must pay the piper, and that it is the grossest immorality to foist unbearable debt and future economic collapse on the next generation. Liberal do-gooder goals always sound wonderful and I probably would agree with most of them--if they didn't always neglect to mention: exactly how do we pay for them without destroying the nation?

Here is one reson I don't care for him:

How Mitt Romney Invested Millions in Outsourcing

“according to government documents . . . Romney, when he was in charge of Bain [Capital], invested heavily in a Chinese manufacturing company that depended on US outsourcing for its profits—and that explicitly stated that such outsourcing was crucial to its success.”
“This previously unreported deal runs counter to Romney’s tough talk on the campaign trail regarding China. “We will not let China continue to steal jobs from the United States of America,” Romney declared in February. But with this investment, Romney sought to make money off a foreign company that banked on American firms outsourcing manufacturing overseas."

Link to rest of the story that appeared in Forbes:

To make things clear, I don't care for either candidate. I just think some things are unfair on both sides and both sides should be heard on different issues.

As for the movie, it was produced, written, and directed by a conservative who has links to organiztions that pay fortunes to make the other side look bad. Yet when attempting to reach the web site of the film's distrabution company and the one that is suppose to "prove" all that is in the movie - the ones provided by them get the message" page does not exist".     I read a review that at the end cautioned people before seeing the movie to check more on the producer, who he is, and what is his agenda. The entire review was not pro or con, just said that movies like this are not always one way, that there can be reasons for being released when they are by who makes and releases them and to try to think for yourself rather than accept everything for what it is. Most of life is not so cut and dried, but rather shades of gray. I thought the review very well written and by not taking one side or another made it was quite convincing. I think he was trying to say that some of it is true and some of it is not. Just my thoughts on what I've read. I intend to make up my own mind.

Dirt Obviously Transfers!!!

Thursday, August 30, 2012

I have been very busy working in the garden.

Most days I have been putting in at least 4 hours at a stretch.

I have pulled weeds, planted winter crops, made new beds, pruned, clipped, gathered, raked, shoveled, hoed.

I have built up a huge burn pile of waste, so when the rain comes, I can burn it all down.

I have gathered a bountiful harvest, and I have questioned myself as to what the hell was I thinking in planting so many carrots, beets, peas, tomatoes, squashes, beans and lettuces.

My garden overfloweth.

My neighbors are not talking to me, nor are they answering the door when I show up with more produce to off load on them. I can hear them snickering behind the door, and I KNOW they are home!! They aren't fooling me one little bit!

Don't they know how healthy they can get if they eat my over flow????

Maybe it's that last wheelbarrow full I left on their doorstep.

But hey! Waste not, want not, right??

Today I am changing my routine. I am staying home and cleaning house.

Yes, you heard me correctly. I am going to stay out of the garden today.

After watching the TV coverage of the Convention last night, I took a look at my house.

Every where I look there is clutter. And dust. And DIRT.

All those rows and rows of hoeing the dirt, raking it nice and smooth! I seemed to have a lot less dirt after getting all the weeds out and making it all pretty.

Now I know where the dirt transferred itself. It's in my house, getting ready to sprout brand new weeds, I'm sure.

So today is the day I bring in the rake and shovel and clean my house.

I can't wait. I'm so excited at the prospect that I could just pee myself.

I take my excess produce to the local food bank. They love to have fresh food to give to their clients, even the zucchinis that look more like baseball bats.

Too bad we live at opposite ends of the state. I'd take your produce in a heartbeat. This year I only got beans and squash. The snails and rabbits got everything else.

This blog is very humorous and uplifting. I don't know where you are, but you can leave your neighbors alone and send the vegetables to a homeless shelter or food pantry. My daughter has been donating fresh tomatoes and the people really appreciate the fresh food.

Coil of Rage........A must Read...

Tuesday, August 28, 2012

Well, you can figure that I wouldn't have read anything Obama wrote, so it is an eye opener, though NOT a big surprise, to see his inner thoughts written down. People who DID vote for him should read this, and maybe his books, to see where he's REALLY going. His dealings with the Mid-east show that he is carrying out those guidelines. Wake up, America!

How do you like him now,America?

Coil of Rage ~

When you've read to the end, come back and read this first paragraph again.

A Coil of Rage

The character of any man is defined by how he treats his mother as the years pass... need I say more about this person below other than there is no character, no integrity but there is a ton of attitude and arrogance that defines his shallow past and hollow future... I rest my case.

I bought and read Obama's book, Audacity of Hope. It was difficult to read, considering his attitude toward us and everything American. Let me add a phrase he used to describe his attitude toward whites. He harbors a "COIL OF RAGE". His words not mine.

Everyone of voting age should read these two books by him: Don't buy them, just get them from the library.

From Dreams From My Father:

"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites."

From Dreams From My Father:

"I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race."

From Dreams From My Father:

"There was something about her that made me wary, a little too sure of herself, maybe and white."

From Dreams From My Father:

"It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to
show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names."

From Dreams From My Father:

"I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself: the attributes ofMartin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela."

And FINALLY...........and most scary:

From Audacity of Hope:

"I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

If you have never forwarded an e-mail, now is the time to do so!!! We have someone with this mentality running our GREAT nation!

Keep your eye on him and don't blink.

I don't care whether you are a Democrat, a Republican, a > Conservative or a liberal, be aware of the attitude and character of this sitting President.
