I hated arithmetic in grade school and math in high school and numbers in general now. I feel like I should have been tested for some kind of math disability in school, but teachers didnít bother and parents didnít care when I b**** over doing my math homework.
I have a transcript from high school showing my %ile raw score for math as 11 and Ohio %ile as 4. Iím not sure how to read that, but seems low match to other scores on my sheet of Achievement Test raw scores Math 11
Academic Ability Test Raw scores: math 14;
Achievement Test, Ohio %ile: math 4.
Academic Ability test: Ohio %ile: math 4.
At times, with more complex figuring on teams, Iíve had to ask DH for help.
Iím reading a book on Alzheimer (a challenge Iím on we have to read health articles), one test is to count down from 100 by 7sÖ..say what!!!!
I know there is a word meaning math disability, Dyscalculia, but not really sure I have it.
Who says math isnít importantÖespecially when shopping for deals. Thank goodness for calculatorsÖ..and DH. I usually take him along.
Iím not completely dumb, because I can do some math especially by 10s and I have had some luck with easy deals; which is the cheaper deal.
I remember being made Ďtreasuryí on my Relay For Life team. I had to make change for the yard sale. At least two people corrected the change I gave back and it was to their advantage. Usually it was a dollar at the most, that they gave back, but how many didnít bother to correct me and kept the money? Needles to say, DH helped me in making sure I had the right amount of our yard sale to report to my team.
