Tuesday, November 01, 2011

I managed to get down a pound at last weigh in. NOt sure how tomorrow will turn out, but it is a new month and I have to set my mind that I am going to keep up my daily routine of exercises and eating healthier.

I'm such a yo yo.

X Factor

Tuesday, October 18, 2011

While watching X Factor, we kept being interrupted by tornado warnings that played over and over for like 5 minutes at a time. It's good to have these, but right at an important time?

What was Simon's big mistake? I did find out about Drew making it through. I still don't know all the acts by name, but it should get more interesting now.

I did miss Dancing with the Stars but did find out who was eleminated.

Yay Maks, still in there!!!

They really should have done better matching the groups with the judges. Nicole is a group singer. She'd know more about that. I don't think Paula wanted groups.

Is this the way they do it in the UK?

I remember when Sabrina from the group Cheetah Girls, was voted off DWTS. She was good. Everyone was shocked. Somehow they need to have the judges have the last say, not the public.

There's a show on BBC where they have judges but the writer or director or producer whateever he is..Webber (I keep wanting to call him Frank Lloyd Wright, lol I'm sure Webber doesn't build houses). The judges come up with the bottom 2 and Webber has final say. DWTS public could come up with the final 3 and let the judges vote off from that.

Glad I found this blog. I agree that Jazzlyn should have still been in the competition. I really do not like Tia, and the Justin Bieber groupie is not that strong either, in my opinion. Neither should have made it to the live show, with all of the other good singers in the girls group. BIG mistake with Paula's groups, I thought. Where, in the music industry, is that large group going to fit...unless they're hoping to start a Glee knock-off show! 4Shore was one of the best acts in the whole competition, I thought, and should definitely have made it ahead of Lakoda Rayne (sp?). For the guys, I was surprised that the young rapper made it, too. LA said, from the start, that he was too young...so, I was surprised that he picked him. I don't remember what the really hot guy's name was...but I think he would've been a better pick, and was definitely a fan favorite. As for the over 30s, I'm pulling for the guy from Columbus, OH, because he was such a diamond in the rough, and I think he's one of the best singers in the group. I felt sorry for the wedding singer who was told that "it's more than just about the singing." The delivery wasn't good on that one, Nicole.

As for DWTS...what a mess this season! They've already voted off 2 top contenders, which leaves JR without much competition. He's awesome, though, and probably should win it anyway. But the way things are going, it's anyone's guess. Now, if JR gets voted off, I'll quit watching the show, for sure! I would've kept watching because of Carson's great entertainment...but even HE is gone!

it was supposed to be unanamous(darn spelling). but i i feel if simon can bring someone back there should be one more for each catagory as well to keep it even....I'm glad I'm not the only one who disliked the rapper...my mom doesnt care much for him. but we noticed that L A got rid of TWO country singers. (one of which i liked alot) I don't think that was right and he dropped in my opinion for bringing rihanna in then even more for dropping 2 country singers and taking that spoiled kid...I've watched almost every episode(last night was flipping back and forth between it and dwts) and I love it. I had grown bored of Idol...maybe I should just blog this myself with how much i'm rambling on...:P

I had forgotten about DWTS and was upset that I didn't watch. My husband caught the end and found out who was voted off. I like to watch the entertainment too. I hope we taped it on DVR.

I too missed a lot of the auditions. My sil would mention someone's name and I didn't know who she was talking about, but I think it will get more interesting now.

That is sosmething that Simon made a mistake. Who Simon...make a mistake! Now he has an extra person. Is that fair to the other judges?

I watched the initial auditions up to the Final 32---then I missed last night's show (DVRing Biggest Loser and NCIS instead...and then DWTS results). I had lost interest in X Factor, not really caring who made it through and who didn't. I'm not liking this show so much, but maybe now that we're into the live competition part, it'll get more interesting.

The young rapper has had too big a head since Day 1 for me. I did not like him on his first audition, and I still don't like him.

The young rapper made it through? I would have preferred Skylar too. I missed a lot with the interruptions and I haven't been paying a lot of attention in previous shows so will have to get to know who is left.

Is it fair that Simon gets an extra person and the other judges don't get the chance? Oh well, his show I guess.

Thanks for the info.

I keep forgetting the other coast hasn't seen this yet. Hope I didn't give anything away anywhere.

Melanie amaro. I think if any girl should have been brought back it should have been Jazzlyn. and i would have picked melanie over simone. for groups i would have picked 4shore over intenisty. for boys(REALLY TICKED ABOUT THIS) I would have taken skylar over the bratty 14 year old rapper. and I don't disagree with any of the over 30s...my opinion...

Fairly Tale Challenge Blog - Mon

Monday, October 17, 2011

I feel that I did pretty good today. I did cardio and starting to concentrate more on individual body parts when doing strength. I get more minutes and reps in this way.

Surprised myself by now doing any unhealthy snacking today. I was tempted.

I forgot to blog yesterday and was bad on snacking. I bought some Chocolate cherry licorice made in Australia. Love Australian (except their spiders) so had to buy this bag. I'll keep it with my other Australian paraphanelia.
I had three pieces.

Fairy Tale Challenge Blog Sat

Saturday, October 15, 2011

Today was better. I stayed in range as well as getting in my cardio and strength. I'm going to continue the TNT challenge where we work one body part. Each day I'll consentrate on one part to get in a couple hundred reps.

After the TNT challenge with the squats, my inner thighs hurt (from the plie squats) and where the leg joins the body. (not sure what that would be called). I'll get some good minutes in as well as getting a good workout of a limb or abs .

I only do them in increments of 20-40 at a time through out the day so it isn't so bad.

Fairy Tale Challenge Blog - Friday

Friday, October 14, 2011

On my BLC-17 team challenge, called the Fairy Tale Challenge. We have to be honest and blog/journal our weaknesses, fudging and lies we tell ourselves.

Today was a total wipe out in the snacking and tracking categories. First off, I visited my friend to practice piano and she offered me ice cream.
Then we went out to Golden Corral to eat dinner and {heavy sigh} I tried the chocolate fountain twice. Once with marshmellow and the next time with marshmellow, strawberry and rice krispy treat. All attched to a separate long tooth pick. This was the first time I've seen this there.

{hang head in shame} Came home and had a Milano chocolate melt.

I got 30-minutes of cardio and some strength done.

Didn't really have a lot of time to do much but play piano and eat! emoticon

At LEAST you did the cardio! Put all that behind you (no pun intended!) and start over TODAY! It's the weekend, but you can SORTA behave yourself!
