What are your biggest obstacles in your path, the biggest challenges you must overcome on your journey? And what is your plan for getting around, over, past, or through them?
If it is eating, maybe it is time you started a menu plan. If it is a certain type of food, how will you avoid it? If it is exercise, how will you schedule your day? If it is attitude.. what will you do to support yourself? PLAN TO SUCCEED... AND YOU WILL!!
Oh boy, Iíve got a lot to work on, just donít know where to start.
I just finished a challenge to track our Sodium. That was tough, trying to stay in calorie range AND Sodium. I know in my case, I need to keep my Cholesterol in range and I seem to be doing okay with that. I hadnít even thought about keeping the other nutrients in range, just calories. Iíve learned from this challenge.

Another problem I have are family meals. I usually eat at my scheduled time, which various from the family (dh & mom). I track my meals for the week.
My husband and I use to make weekly menus; we didnít over spend or buy more food than what we needed. (plus our freezer didnít get over packed re-buying what we already have). We used to make out our menu on Thursday and bought what groceries we needed for the next week.
We cleaned out our freeze yesterday. I asked him how much did he think we threw away. He said he didnít want to think about it. We had 3 garbage bags full: boxed foods, frozen meats, packages of veggies, etc. Some of it is foods I donít eat. Iím picky. My husband does the grocery shopping.
I get tempted. DH will ask if I want lasagna or roast, potato etc for supper. I already have my menu made out! Let me know days before, at least.
I do pretty well with my exercise routine. Iím retired and SAHD (stay at home daughter - caregiver for my mom). I have to schedule my exercises, showers, eating, etc in between tending to my mom (wash up, her exercises, meals).
What will I do to support myselfÖ..Hummm, letís see.
~~Keep tracking my foods and making my menu a week ahead.
~~Have another good talk with my husband about meals. (this will be the hard one to conquer)
~~I can read books on patience and attitude and pray a lot. I know not to pray for patience as God will give you reason to want patienceÖ.I already have reasons. Iíll pray for guidance and help with my attitude when Iím having a bad day.
