Beach Body Bootcamp and 23 pounds gone!!!

I can't believe that May 1st is here and I have already met my goal for the 4 month challenge. I set out to loose 20 pounds in 4 months, and ended up loosing 20 pounds in less than 3 months!!! Wow I am SO excited, and I couldn't have done it without all the support here on Sparkpeople.... THANK YOU!

I am also excited for the Beach body bootcamp... I think it will be a great motivator this month, and I still have atleast 20 pounds to loose... so here I go...

My measurments this far...

weight: 140.4
waist: 29
hips: 35 (can we say- love handles?!?)
booty: 40 (yeah need to work on that)
thighs each: 23.5
calves each: 13.5

I can't wait to see what happens this month!

I love it... I dream about it... haha! Tonight I was doing so well at the all you can eat buffet until dessert!!! I indulged in atleast 350 calories just in desserts- this is my biggest struggle for sure. How can you control the sugar cravings? I know it's an addiction- the more I eat the more I want. I did real well cutting them cold turkey before- maybe I will do it again...

    wow last night i did the same thing with sweets!!! i ate good out all day then dessert came and my day was blown: big chocolate chip cookie AND soft serve ice cream..i wish i had good advice to give you and for myself with this dilemma...my weakness for sure..i just wrote a blog about my day too...dam sugar!!!

2000 calorie day- and 5 pounds???

OK so I know last Sat. was horrible as far as my eating was concerned, but 5 pounds is crazy. I have lost back 3 pounds of it, but loosing weight I have already lost is getting a little frustrating considering it was only 1 bad day... I guess I will think twice when I think I can allow myself to cheat for a day...

    Yeah, I agree about the water weight -- we women can't get hung up over 5 lbs here or there, because our weight can literally change that much from morning to evening, and it has more to do with the menstrual cycles and retaining fluid, and is normal. The important thing is to watch for *trends* -- and overall, you're doing GREAT! I love the 3 pictures of you at the different weights, the difference is amazing. WTG!

Oh the Brownies...

So I had a BIG craving for Brownies on Thursday, so I made a batch...and making that batch I ate a whole brownies worth of batter- then one brownie after they cooked... yuck- I felt disgusting! I was in range for calories, but my body was telling me that didn't matter- the overload of fat and sugar was just too much...

The lesson to this was...

Everything in moderation!!!

Retreat next weekend...

I am looking forward to this retreat that we are going on with our church as sponsers for the children, but I am not exctied about the food choices!!! So I am planning to bring some fruits along so I can snack on those instead of candy and such. Hopefully I won't blow it!!! I should be able to get a brisk walk in since we will be at a camp site...
