Yes it was SO nice today- I think we spent atleast 2 hours outside or more... I know my DH spent about 5.. it was sunny and over 70*!!! I love spring, although it's supposed to get cold again- DEPRESSING, but it won't be long when spring is here to stay... Don't ya just love sunshine? Also I got in a full hour of walking- sure beats being inside, and I always exercise longer when I can be outside!!!!

I am going to be upping my calories to almost 1800 a day because now that I have been a lot more active I am burning many more calories. My daughter is 8 months old, but she still breastfeeds a lot! So I am going to be temporarily upping the calories to see if that will help, but if I feel overstuffed and/or am not loosing anything, then I will decrease them slowly.... I just don't want to get into starvation mode!!! Well that is the plan- hope it works and doesn't set me back!

    Have you been to Babyfit? If not, you should definitely check it out. It is owned by Spark, and is primarily for people who want to maintain a healthy weight during pregnancy - but there is a great community of people there. I'm also BFing & have heard that if you increase your calorie intake by 200 calories that is enough to make the difference. I'm with you though - it's a tough balancing act. At some points during the day I get shaky & have to eat something right then - which is not a good feeling.

Tae Bo Whoa!

Well it's been about a year since I put in my Tae Bo tape, and at first I thought- this is ok I can do this, but then about halfway into it I started to run in place...lol... and whoa it was getting me sweating and everything!!! I think this will be my challenge for March to myself to master this video tape again, and when I have done that go ahead and buy the Billy Blanks Boot Camp- or another one of his! What a workout!!!!

    So you have his boot Camp and enjoy it? Does it use any equipment? I have his celebrity cardio and think it is OK. I haven't done it that many times so I should try it again. Do you have any of his other videos you like?

    Oh yes, it's always a shock when you put the tape away for awhile and then pull it out thinking "oh this will be a snap". The first time I thought that I almost needed CPR :) It took me awhile to work up to doing the entire Tae Bo cardio tape.

Once I got the hang of it again, it became my favorite workout (still is). I went to ebay and bought the entire Boot Camp collection. Ah, no I have not opened them yet...still on the favorite cardio tape...

Salads are awesome!

Went to Jason's deli tonight, and I piled the veggies from the salad bar up high- got some hummus, and fat free dressing to go with it... it was SOOOO yummy, and SOOO filling. I tracked a total of 22 items from the salad onto my tracker and the total calorie count was only 640 calories- that is including the couple of bites of ice cream I took from what my daughter didn't eat!!!!

I truly is getting easier, the more I do, the more I get motivated- and I have learned that if I am feeling discouraged- just hop on to sparkpeople and read all the success stories- if they can do it, so can I!

    Yup, that's just what I am finding also, and as I look at the amazing success stories, and see the amounts that some people have lost, I too know that I will be one of those stories very soon. :)
