Well, I am not doing that great in staying within my calorie range. The scale at the gym read 51 kg yesterday...

I plan on doing callanetics today later in the evening. I want to jump back in !

I understand how hard it is to jump back in ,after regaining much of my weight I am coming down again . Although life throws us some tough punches we can rise to the occasion if we begin and don't expect perfection and tell our selves I will restart with smaller expectations and often our surprised how quickly a little turns into much. I wish above all else for you to succeed in all your endeavors to become the person you want to be. Rebacca71

RECIPE FOR A MIRACLE ......

Friday, May 18, 2007

• 1 cup Tension
• 2 cups Stress
• 1 teaspoon of Guilt
• 2 heaping cups of Limited Time
• 3/4 tablespoon of Urgency
• A dash of "No Other Choice"
• 3 heaping cups of Faith

Fold ingredients gently into a bowl. Mix vigorously and add a few
tears. You'll sweat a little as you knead the dough.

Pack it firmly between your hopes and dreams and form into a
perfect little ball.

Sprinkle it with a little faith, rolling the ball in the flour until fully
covered.

Place it under a veil of belief and allow it to rise.

Put it in an oven that has been pre-set at the perfect temperature
for the heat of trials and tribulations.

Allow it to brown under the warmth of God's love. Remove after
due season and allow to cool in the confidence of His promise.

Garnish with your praises. Arrange neatly on a platter of
thankfulness and serve to friends, families and, oh yes,
strangers . . . invite them too!

Pass on the recipe to all who request it and let them know that
with this recipe, they have the makings of a miracle!

The small, unexpected treats in life are
oftentimes the most meaningful & most treasured. They mean a
lot to our friends & family members, & they mean a lot to us.
Take care of yourself. Treat yourself to an occasional random act of
kindness.

Let us never forget the three powerful
resources we always have available to us : Love, Prayer and
Forgiveness…

The BEST things in life are nearest : Breath in
your nostrils, Light in your eyes, Flowers at your feet, Duties at your
hand, the Path of RIGHT just before you. Then let’s not grasp at the
stars, but do life’s plain, common work as it comes, certain that daily
duties & daily bread are the sweetest things in life.

Well, I am back on to the exercise wagon & have fell off the healthy eating wagon. Due to some familial & my own mental thinking issues, I just can't bring myself to eat the meals at home. I end up eating chips (corn NOT potato) and biscuits (I had given up eating these since I joined SP). I stay within my range but chips & biscuits make me feel lousy from within. I am hungry most of the time & cannot bring myself to serve myself the food prepared at home.....

Another snippet from MFW...

The way you picture yourself has a powerful effect on the reality of
your life. And you can picture yourself any way you choose. You hold
in your mind a mental picture of yourself. The quality & substance of
that picture make all the difference in the actions you take & the
results you get.

Picture yourself expressing the best that is within you… Picture
yourself living fully, loving sincerely, giving gladly, and bringing
unique value to each moment. Picture yourself as the joyful, creative
& effective person you know you can be… Picture yourself dancing
swiftly & successfully past each challenge & limitation.

Think of yourself not in terms of your regrets or disappointments.
Instead, consider all the valuable & useful lessons you’ve learned.
Think of yourself not in terms of your problems. Instead, identify
yourself with your most promising possibilities.

No matter what happens, never lose hope. For hope is the companion
of power and the mother of success; for who so hopes, has within
them the gift of miracles. So, the very least you can do in your life, is
figure out what YOU hope for. And the most you can do is live inside
that hope. Not admire from a distance but live right in it, under its roof.

Since tomorrow’s success depends on today’s effort, let us mend our
fences before they are replaced by walls…!!!

And there are days ..........

Wednesday, May 09, 2007

There may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren't the way you had hoped they would be,
....that's when you have to tell yourself that things will get better.

There are times when people disappoint you and let you down,
but those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your life focused on believing in yourself and all that you are capable of.

There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life,
and it is up to you to accept them.

Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are.

So when the days come that are filled with frustration and unexpected responsibilities,
remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be, because the challenges and changes will only help you to find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you.

Keep believing in yourself.

REMEMBER : Every accomplishment, great or small, starts with the right decision,
“I’LL TRY”.

~~~~~~Just had to share this with everyone who drops by my blog~~~~~
