30 day shred day 1

well today i decided to give jillian michaels 30 day shred a try. i had to modify a couple things and i did stop twice. i worked up a good swet and im sure ill feel it in the morning. I however do not know if i can do the same workout for 10 days in a row without getting bored with it.

Despite driving 20 minutes away (one way) to go to my gym for a zumba class to find out the power is down and have to turn around to go back home; I was able to get in some exercise. I didnt let anything get me down and say forget it for today. I ended up doing 11 minutes on the treadmill and decided that wasnt what i wanted to do. I then tried the wii fit and ended up doing 18 minutes of the boxing and it still wasnt taking the place of the zumba i REALLY wanted tobe doing. So i popped in my pilates dvd and did the entire 30 minutes. I feel so much better now! Hope everyone haas a wonderful day and I look forward to the rest of my week :) 3 days in a row so far of exercis of some kind woohoo

Wow. so i decided to start going to the gym again on thursday, hubby of course just laughed at me and said yea right :) i havent really stuck to anything so i dont blame him for thinking that way.i did go that day and got on the treadmill and bike for a total of an hour. Friday i went and did the same for an hour.Then came home on decided to log into sp (here i am) and thats when i signed up for the 28 day bootcamp so i added a 10 minutes video to my hour of cardio i already did. Saturday went and did the same thing for an hour. By sunday morning i was feeling really tired,but because hubby didnt think id continue to go, i DID! Sunday i went thinking i was going to try zumba but i was an h our early so instead a took a beginners step class for an hour. Boy did i like that class,it felt good after the workout. Monday morning my calves were sore but still i decided to go and work out. I took a lift 2b fit class and boy i was feeling the workout before i left! wow it was a good workout and really made me notice i had no muscle strength AT ALL. tuesday my body was so sore and tired i decided to skip the gym and i went back to bed after getting everyone off to school/work and i slept until almost noon (i never do that). Today i made myself go even though i was still {am} sore lol i knew if i took another day off it would be like before where tomorrow never comes. So i went and i got to do zumba.let me tell you it was fun and i feel great! i problibly looked really stupid out there dancing my fat but off and not knowing all the moves but thats ok i had fun worked up a sweat. Hope everyones have a motivated week like i am.

wow how many times have i said that now? LOL ive decided the only reason why i am still fat is because im afraid to fail and lets just face it i got comfortable being the fat one,it became my safety net from getting out there and experiencing new things and having fun. Well im tired of it! i went to the gym Wednesday and tonight when hubby gets home im off again to the gym. I think i may cleanse my body by only eating fruits and veggies drinking only water and green tea. After the cleanse im considering the raw food diet which really isnt a diet at all its just a new life style of eating the foods our bodies were meant to eat not all this other crap. Crap that i have become very fond of but i am ready to let it go. In march i will be 30 and since i wasted my 20's being fat and scared of new things i do not want to enter my 30's the same way.I want to enjoy life and love myself inside and out!

well.....i just sat down with my first slimfast breakfast and oh my gosh it is horrible! it wont mix in with the milk like its suppose to :( i got some yesterday since its cheaper then herbalife which i was going to try. i guess later i will try blending it and see if it gets any better. I wonder,can you add fruit to the mix? a banana may make it taste a little better lol

    so after buyin slimfast and drinking it i think 3 days lol i gave up.the slim fast is still on top of my microwave

    so todays breakfast shake i put in the blender with a banana in it and it tastes a whole lot better!

    yes i got the powder because it was under 8dollars for 14 servings verses the cans of already made stuff that was 6 bucks for six cans.

    Did you get the shakes or the powder stuff? With the powder you might just have to use it as a protein powder and make it into smoothies or something. I take the regular shakes and throw them in a blender with ice, bananas or strawberries, and about a tsp of honey or agave. It takes the weird bitter after taste out of them. Good luck!

    I have those shakes as well. I haven't had a single one yet but I'm thinking of trying one today. I'm thinking of making it into a smoothie by adding ice. lol don't think it'll be much better! Hope you find something to make it taste better!
