Wow, I have the same red riding hood out fit, the yellow out fit and maybe the blue one too? My mom made them for me. Unfortunately I don't have any place safe to display them right now. So they are stored away in my garage. I might have to did them out though and get a glass display box and put them up on a shelf away from the kids and dogs. I have a several of the dolls too. And I had several big baby dolls with the glass moving eyes too, but I just recently gave most of them away to a friend young daughter to love on, since I never had a girl and can't have any kids. I have a lot of old Barbie and her friend's dolls too in the garage, and lots of clothes that my mom made special for them.

And I love your story book dolls. My sister had those, but not me! Yours are beautiful!

I saw your "profile" shot with dolls and came right here! I have found my childhood dolls--exact replicas--and display them proudly. I have Toni, Nanette, several Ginny and Vogue and a Terri Lee. I also have an AG doll that I enjoy at holiday time. Fun to find a "doll mate" on Spark!

A few years ago I wrote an essay about my adult doll experience. I thought you might be interested so here is the link: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte

Oh goodness! Storybook dolls. :) I have a box of these in my cedar chest. Aren't they lovely? The patience that our moms and grandmas had to sew these tiny clothes is truly admirable. So happy to see that you kept them, Elisa.
