The LED is so small you have to be a teenager to see. The initial battery lasted a few days. I thought, oh, maybe they had old battery in there. So I replaced it. Darn, my own battery also went dead within a week. OK, so it's not the battery then. I still used it one time with the dead battery, but I found that the rope has to be unwound between each set. I was doing 50 jump per set. So even without the problem of battery drainage, the rope itself is not very good for use. Highly not recommended. Too bad, it's a hassle to return as I bought from ebay instead of Amazon. I'll chalk it up as a learning experience. DO NOT BUY THIS ROPE.
