A beautiful, happy looking dog.
I have lost a few in my time, and it's always hard. The blessing though is that you had him for however long you had him. As they say, "It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." That's especially applicable to dogs.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so hard to lose a family member like a dog...they are so innocent, loving, playful, and full of life. It's wonderful that you adopt rescues...they're the best. What could be more rewarding? :-)

Awesomely expressive dog...I understand the great lose. I lost "My Buddy" over year ago and I still CANNOT look at any photo without immediately crying. I loved him so much. He dies of old age at 17...and was like my child...and a great companion and very special friend. i have a pic of him on my page...he's teh red and white dog, a beautiful dog inside and out. You now have 2 sweethearts and so do I. One can never replace another though, THAT I have learned. Shortly after he dies, I wrote a super long poem in his honor to get over the greif I felt. I tell you, it was tough! emoticon

I loved this dog (Rusty). He was severely abused - was rescued from a puppy mill - they did not sell him so they were letting him starve. Had medical issues most of his life. He loved me TOO MUCH!!!
