You are truly inspiring! The weight loss you have achieved is amazing! I'm grateful for upi sharing your story on SP! I'm a newbie, (7/2012), so reading about a person like you really gives me hope! I hope someday I'll be able to run! (right now it's the elliptical). I'll friend you for encouragement! Thank you!

It's like looking in a mirror when I look at your heaviest picture !
Complete with shorts up the thighs and a book in my (ah, your) hand.

That's the weight I started at. Went to the biggest loser at fitness ridge for 6 weeks and that kicked me into gear. Lost 35 lbs there came home and lost another 35 lbs. Got all complacent and all and over a four mont period slowly started putting it back on at the rate of about5 lbs a month. But I faced the demon scale and although am now only down 54 lbs as opposed to the 72 lbs am hopeful I can get back on and stay on track. I too am jogging and yes feel free to call it running. One of my favorite sayings is no matter how fast I'm going I am still lapping the person that's sitting on the couch. I don't sign on here enough and let this slip away too, but I'm going to try to keep going. I have already done a 10k and rode my bike24 miles this past weekend and am thankful fitness ridge gave me the courage to do it. Sigh up for every race you can that will keep you running towards a goal. Join a softball league etc... Just keep moving, now I'm going to take my own advice... Peace candy
