Hi NotSpeedy:
No, we don't 4-wheel with this Bronco. We won't do anything more difficult than forest service roads. Huge rocks and mud are not really our thing. Our standard is if we would drive our F250 pickup on it, we would drive our Bronco on it.
The Sangre de Cristo mountains are the dividing range between the San Luis valley (Saguache county to the west of the mtns) and the Wet Mountain valley (Custer county to the east of the mtns) in the south central part of the state. Pueblo is east and south of Custer county.
We own property in Westcliffe, but actually live in Indiana right now. We plan to build and "retire" out there.
We got married in Grand Junction in 1988 though. We have not been through there for several years - has it changed much?

Do you go 4-wheeling? If I remember right, the Sangre de Cristo mtns. are between Wolf Creek Pass and Pueblo. I live in Grand Junction.
