I love this picture. I am choked up; somehow it conveys the quiet dignity of older women and the simplest things they sometimes hold dear. I know I never knew your mom, but I think this picture maybe introduces a part of her I would like.

She reminds me so much of my hubby's mom. Her pastor used to call her Q-tip. We both miss her.
