First workout of 2016 in the books ... spent 45 minutes with these two strong men! These are the only kind of dates I need in my life right now #operationKOL
Making frittatas for breakfast! Consists of bacon, cheese, red peppers and green onions ... they will get healthier as the journey continues, but this is better than any breakfast I'd buy on the street!
Close but not quite there just yet! I'll definitely keep working on it.

No part of my body wanted to get up ... but my mind wanted it more!! Whooo hoooo!
I usually stop and get a large hot chocolate on my way to work, which is money spent and negative calories ... bought this cute cup for $8 (cost of 4 hot chocolates!) and am trying different teas. Love it so far!!

So, besides wanting to lose weight for obvious health reasons, this fall I'll be embarking on my bucket list trip around Italy and Greece! I know this trip will require a lot of walking and I have a goal dress to wear while on my cruise, so this is a big motivator for me!! I can't wait and this countdown looks like it will take forever!!
I treat myself to dessert twice a week ... vanilla bean ice cream with granola bits!

Had a bad dinner (Chinese take out!) but I'm done sulking about it ... trying overnight oats for the first time and prepping my cooking for tomorrow! I know how to hop back on when I fall off now.
Got two more cute travel mugs! This makes drinking tea at work so much more sophisticated! LOL

Achieved over 50,000 steps this week for the first time ever. Gotta keep it up
Although my work week started today, I'm doing week prep now ... bacon and brushetta frittatas with vegetables and cheese. These will be for breakfast and working on dinner now.

Had a really bad week Didn't work out once, just did about 40 mins of walking a day. I gave myself a pep talk this morning and I'm ready to conquer the week ahead! Treating myself for dinner :)
This was my highest step total for the week ... gotta get back into 5 digits next week!
My work week starts tomorrow so prepping tonight ... shell pasta with veggies and ground beef. I'll also have a side of coleslaw!
Making lunch for the week ... a tuna coleslaw mix that I will eat with a mini bagel!
Didn't feel like going down to the gym in my building but I was determined to work out ... these videos will become a regular in my journey from now on!
Breakfast prep for tomorrow and already did lunch ... I have no idea why I wasn't doing this before. Makes life so much easier!!

Bad bad week ... no exercise, no walking. Food was on point, but still. So, setting myself up for success early. Gym clothes are laid out for the upcoming week and will be walking tomorrow morning! I can take a bad day here or there but absolutely no more bad weeks!!
My favourite snack!! I probably overdid it with the pretzels but I did count them out! LOL

I couldn't get it all in the shot, but this is my target dress. It's a size 18 but I'll probably have to be a size 16 to wear it comfortably. I'm currently a size 20. I'm planning to wear it on my European cruise in September. I tried it on today and yea I got work to do!

9 down, 11 to go #marchmadness I'm not a huge fan of workout dvds but I didn't feel like going to the gym. Needless to say, it was a great burn and will start to do them regularly now. Did legs and shoulders and will do a 20 min walk later this morning

I know people were asking what was in my overnight oats ... rolled oats, 1% milk, vanilla Greek yogurt, Chia seeds, flaxseed, cinammon, brown sugar, vanilla extract and a dash of salt :)

Spring cleaning month ... today it's sorting through my clothes!! I have a TON of clothes and I'm making tough decisions but it's all good!
I was prepping my lunch and snacks for the week so I decided to have one for myself!! Garlic herb wheat thins with hummus :)

These challenges were started by an actress through Instagram and I'm enjoying them so much! Mind you, I'm walking but a mile is a mile! One day I will be able to run it
I'm off Sundays and Mondays for the next couple months so Mondays will be prep day ... breakfast and snacks for the week are done and this is a sample. Also, since I have a set schedule, I'm able to much more accurately plan my workouts, which will be between 5 and 6:30 each evening :) looking forward to the results this type of structure brings.
I haven't been to the gym in weeks but I left work early and thought why not? Great 30 mins on the stepper Now for some weights!!

Finding a way to get things done ... didn't have a good June exercise wise so gotta make up for it in July!
From my condo, I can see Lake Ontario and I've always wondered how far it would be to walk it ... well, tonight was the night and it was a great trail! 80 minutes in total!
