I'll admit I was skeptical...but egg salad made with plain greek yogurt is AMAZING!!!

Little snack after the gym looks gross but it's delicious!!! I made a huge pot of ground chicken/spinach/onion/tacospice and put it on/in everything!

I have been off track like seriously off track for the past week. Every day I told myself today's the day...well today was finally the day! Didn't get my run in but met my step goals and ate awesomely! fail to plan - plan to fail...case and point, today I planned my meals and didn't let not getting my run in derail me for the day! #proudofme

Oh my god I can't explain how delicious this was tonight! After a great ST session in the morning and a short run after work, this warm taco salad was amazing!! Light tex mex cheese, Greek yogurt, extra lean ground beef, lots of onions and lettuce and taco seasoning with a GF taco shell!! Yum Yum!!

The smell of DH'a pizza made me cranky....I wanted to guzzle it down before it made it back to the car....I ended up much happier after eating my healthy taco Turkey potato bowl :)
Just a little wog, after heavy squat and deadlift day yesterday my legs felt like tree trunks....got through it...slowly haha!

Mini vacation day for me and DH, after driving five hours today and having a celebratory supper at the keg for my new job, not only did I stay in calorie range I also met my step/active minute goal!!! Wahoo!

Training run 4of78...today's lesson was that I had forgotten the rule of 10% increase should apply to distance OR speed in a run not both together...died...seriously a brutal run...but on a positive note I got through it and now have a new benchmark!

Super slow run - it was -32c with the windchill I could barely breathe, had to get my 8km in! It wasn't pretty and my lungs are burning but I did it....and with an insane calorie burn!!
Me and my hero - nine years ago, I almost lost him to an IED in Afghanistan, worst day of our lives. He's the strongest and best inspiration a wife could ever ask for. Despite chronic pain and complications from his injuries he always has a smile on his face and his so supportive. Count your blessings today and every day, tell someone today how much they mean to you - we never realize how fragile life can be.
