I was playing with my new iPhone. 😊 The top of this long hill is the halfway point of my favorite 2 mile walking route. It's been my goal to not have to stop for a minute halfway up to catch my breath. Tonight I did it!! 🙌🏻 Scene from my late morning 2-mile walk on a gorgeous spring day. This guy was very vocal! The sun is so warm I thought my pace was slower but my time says otherwise! 🏃🏻‍♀️ 2 mile walk with hills after dinner. I spotted these pretties along my route. 🌼 Scene from my evening walk home from the hair salon. I live in the town of seven railroads. 🙂 Just under 2 miles round trip, 35 minutes total, 17-18 min per mile Scene from my evening walk. 1.5 miles, 27 minutes, 18 min per mile It's a little chilly out there tonight! I walked an extra half mile by taking a different route home on my evening walk. I won't do that again! The scenery was beautiful but the road has no sidewalk and too much traffic. 😬 On the bright side, this guy was hanging out at the farm near my home. I did it!!! I reached my goal weight! Not only did I reach it, I blew past it by a half pound with a 1.5 loss since last Monday's weigh in! It took 18 weeks to lose 17.5 lbs. No fad diet, no eliminating entire food groups, occasional high calorie treats and an average of 30 minutes of exercise 4-5 times a week. I haven't seen the 120s in 4 or 5 years. I'm 5'0", 56 years old. I track my progress and exercise in a planner along with the app. 5/28/17, one pound below goal. My jeans are too loose!
