I have been in SP for ???? I do not know exactly how I got involved with this site. I kept receiving e mails from SP and reading them, but I was not ready to change for good. Last year Clara and I decided that we will change our eating and excercise habits, beginning 2008, because Thanksgiving and Christmas were close and we did not want to start at this time, then January 2008 was our starting point. Then one of the e mails got my entire attention and started to tour the site and I LOVE IT. I have been doing extra work, and little things that have helped me to improve my habits. So far I have lost some pounds but I have gain confidence that I will do it. Will get rid of the High Blood pressure medicine and that I will look better. No more apple shape, no more maternity clothes at my age.

My Goals:
My primary goal is to lower my blood pressure by eating healthier and exercising more. I want to get rid of the medicine I take to lower it. At my age, I feel that I have to do something to look and feel better, later on it will be impossible. NOW IS THE TIME!!!

My Program:
I do cardio (diferent dvs every time) and weight lifting almost every day . I altenate upper and lower body. Weight Lifting is JOYCE VEDRAL'S dvds. I love this tipe of exercise due to her books. They are easy to follow and bring great results. After a few workouts I can see the difference. She is simply GREAT!!!

Personal Information:
I am from Guatemala, (the Land of Eternal Spring) actually living in Maryland, I have 5 kids and 7grandkids, a wonderful and supportive husband. I love to read, gardening, cooking (baking and decorating cakes) My daughter started me in scrapbooking, my kids make me feel proud of their accomplishments.

Other Information:
I love music, old movies, crafts. reading, I am in love with life.
