Hello Penny, you can do it! Keep focusing on that photo of the slim you and see the difference between that and a current photo of you - which you are going to improve on. You have already gone down over 3 dress sizes and that is fabulous.
I bought my dress for my son's wedding in April this week, so I can't put any weight on now. I am now going to focus on exercise and toning up.
(Wish I was a size 16 - but I'm between a 16 and 18, can't wait to get down to a proper 16!).
I hope you have a wonderful trip home to see mum and dad and hope the weather is good (and also the shopping in London!!! for the new slim you!)

I too am trying to get back to my pre-Christmas weight (79 kgs) which I did this week, but I have also had a lot of trouble sticking to the calorie range, so I won't be too surprised if, come Monday, I am back to 80! (80 kgs = 176 lbs, whilst 79 kgs =173.8 lbs).
At 79 kgs I was just starting to look a bit slimmer and in proportion. My mini goal is to get to 75 kgs, which should get me into a smaller dress size and give me more shopping options! That would be fantastic...
Your before and after photos on the frig are a great idea...perhaps another photo of you in the future (eg of yourself looking slim in the past, or a photo of someone else you would like to look like?) would be another motivator to help you get to how you'd like to look for the trip?
I am so jealous that your going to the UK, where are you headed for? I love the UK and would love to spend our winter (summer there) every year...oh well I can dream can't I?
Let me know how your new 'Maker's Diet' is going, if its any good I'll give it a try. I do eat healthy now too, but my pitfall is when I get home in the evening. I prepare my food for the day and take it to work with me but when I get home I just browse for snacks (sometimes before and after dinner!)
