Gotta Give Up the Weight!!!! :O)

I have been an emotional overeater who has eaten when upset, anxious, or bored...although any reason would do.

A nutritionist guided me to SP and, when I initially joined in 2008 (new SP in early 2009) with 92 lbs to lose, Initially, I did well, but then sabotaged that success repeatedly.

SP is fantastic for its structure, educational & motivational support and I love interacting with my fabulous Sparker friends.

Happy T Day to you and yours!. My DIL and son are the ones who cook. I go to their house. It is also my son's birthday the day after so we sort of celebrate that too. One year my grandson and I gave him a turkey cake with Happy Birthday to our turkey on it. emoticon

Hey, Barbara!
Thanks for stopping by my page. I've been in "a funk" the past few weeks. Work has not been good and has been impacting my personal time recently. I haven't been able to do much on SP. Then I got tired of my photo. I am looking for a new one. I was going to use a Maxine cartoon, but was afraid of copyright issues. I am curious where all the SP find these cute cartoons and/or photos to represent them. Where did you find yours? It's adorable.

And yes, about one month left with FWTS.

Hey Barbara,

How are you feeling?

We always have pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. Sometimes ham and sometimes turkey. And cranberry sauce is a favorite of mine. And green beans.

How do you celebrate?

Hey, how are you feeling today? Our traditional way to celebrate is to go stuff our faces at my sister's house. Unfortunately, she and her husband are separating, and she is moving out this week. Not sure what Thursday will be like.

I sure miss Erma ... she was a hoot.

Traditional Thanksgiving in our house is:

family, family, family
good food ... and lots of it
football game
kids running around laughing

We have turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans (not the casserole kind), rolls pumpkin pie and other goodies. And we eat for hours!!!

And we each say what we are thankful for.
