Please note: Since we have millions of members, unfortunately I can't answer SparkMails that ask questions about someone's program or about site features. Please ask these on the message boards and you're likely to get better support than I could give.

I love to see so many people using SparkPeople to reach all types of goals. Each new success story we see motivates us to keep making the site better. Thanks to all of you - and our great team - SparkPeople has turned into a grassroots movement that is spreading around the world!

SparkCheers!

SparkPoints: 57,693

Fitness Minutes: 44,468

My Goals:
1) Working on my new and improved fitness streak! I'm currently at 170 days, headed towards 200 if I can! (remember, this isn't extreme - I only need 10 minutes to keep the streak alive)

2) Make SparkPeople into a company that helps millions of people (I'm the Founder and CEO of the company and am passionate about helping people reach their goals!).

My Program:
I do a well-rounded fitness program that I can fit into a very hectic lifestyle (having a young company and 2 young boys is challenging!) - most of my fitness program can be done at home. This includes cardio, strength (mostly pushups, crunches, lunges, body squats, and other body weight exercises), sprints and jump rope, stretching, and tennis-specific practice.

My wife helps me eat fairly healthy and I help motivate her on fitness - we're a good team!

Personal Information:
I live with my wonderful wife Karina in the San Francisco Bay Area (even though SparkPeople is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio and that will always be my hometown).

Other Information:
My wife Karina and I have 2 young and active boys. I love seeing them mimic my exercise. Some of our best quality time is exercising together, they love exercising - especially bouncing on a mini-trampoline.

Courage is very important. Like a muscle, it is strengthened by use. A very dear SparkFriend this week posted on our Recovering Alcoholics team thread, Sobriety Blessings, this incredible reflection, "Sobriety has given me the courage to do the right thing in spire of my fear."

In my blog, Strength Training Builds More Than Muscle, I focused on having the courage to change our lifestyle and to reach our goals, our heart's desires.

Success is not final.
Failure is not fatal.
It is the courage to continue that counts.

Blessings today and always! emoticon

Courage is fear that hss said its prayers!

CHRIS, I WENT TO VEGAS TO SEE MY SON FOR THE WINTER! IT WAS THE WORST VACATION I EVER HAD! H PUT ME DOWN THE WHOLE TIME I WAS THERE! HE KICKED ME OUT OF HIS HOUSE, A MONTH AND A HALF BEFORE I LEFT. IT COST ME $500 FOR A ROUND TRIP TO VEGAS. THEN WHEN I HAD TO GO BACK IT COST ME A EXTRA $300. THEN HE CALLS ME AND WANTS TO KNOW IF I'M COMING OUT IN NOVEMBER . I DON'T THINK HE KNOW HOW DEPRESSED I AM! DO I CALL HIM, DO I GO BACK TO VEGAS AGAIN AND TAKE THE CHANCE OF BEING PUT DOWN AGAIN? PLEASE HELP ME! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Things I am learning this week: Wholehearted resolve reveals itself through earnest effort that flows from a willingness to adjust course in order to accomplish a purpose. Adjustments made with wholehearted resolve to possess the goal desired will produce lasting results I can live with for the long haul. Thinking of you and praying for your journey as we walk this way together. Darlene

I had a spark another person incident this week, it is amazing that someone can actually start to change their ways with just you setting an example. I work nights and bring my lunch and have inspired a coworker to start eating more healthy options! I was so supprised!
