Hi! I�m Becky, the Registered Dietitian with Sparkpeople. I live on my �family farm� in southern Indiana with my husband, daughter, and son. It is a small rural community. The closest fast food restaurant is 20 miles away and the nearest shopping mall requires a 50 minute drive. Yes, it is slightly slower-paced, but a pace that I cherish.

I enjoy working in my vegetable garden, preparing new recipes, sewing, and walking in my woods with my canine companions, Roxie and Cassius. My children will tell you that I am fixated on eating meals together as a family at the kitchen table. This is often the only chance to connect and catch-up. It is a time to comfort the pains of the day and celebrate the joys of living.

I also admit that I am a techno-nerd. I do not Twitter. I cannot Facebook. Heck, I don�t even own a cell phone. However, I do enjoy connecting with others at Sparkpeople as we journey together to improve our health. So join me, as we:

    Hi Becky! I hope you are doing well. I have a question. Does spark people have tools for measuring "lean body mass", "body fat mass", and "body fat%" as these are listed on the tracking for weight and other measurements? If so, where would I find it? I really would like to see what it these are for me. I have tried using tools on the internet but find that I am getting answers that are really way either greater or lesser than the week before, so I figure something is not right. Could you please help me here? Thank you in advance. Here is trusting you are having a great day!

    hi me again sorry !!!!! LOL I take vitamins like D, B, C and calcium pills every day I want to add them to my nutrican page but don't know if I can or how... I tried to type in like vitamin D to add to food log that did not work. If you can let me know.. Thanks Christina HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

    Hi I just started. I wanted to know how do I take a recipe that I am making and find out how many calories in that and how many per serving? I have a soup recipe that takes one can of canninelli beans one pakg frozen spinach one onion 2 tbs minced garlic and 8 cups chicken broth. It is so good but I don't know if you take all the calories and add the ingredients up and that is the calories and fat and protein for all uuuuuggggg.
