I really appreciate all of the great recipes that come through my email every day. The ones I've tried have been excellent and I am looking forward to trying many more. Only issue I have is that fairly often the dishes pictured include additional or different vegetable items than the ones specified in the ingredients list, which may (or may not) affect the nutritional info, which I find very important! Also, many times I want to try the dish in the picture, but can't always tell what a particular ingredient is, or how much to add. Perhaps you could include calorie count and ingredient quantity info for "as pictured" modifications somewhere in the TIPS section. Overall, it's a great service you do providing so many nutritious recipes for the community. Thanks so much!
TINATC26 You have made my day---maybe even year. I am so glad that the recipe brought back some great memories. I bet your dad was a wonderful person. Chef Meg
Good Morning Chef Meg.. I wanted to drop a note to tell you that I was looking at your recipe this morning for Cool-as-a-Cucumber Raita, and it reminded me of my dad, who used to love this! We Lebanese people call it something like "laban (that's for the yogurt) and kh-y-ar (that's for cucumbers)." He's been gone a long time, but I can still see him enjoying this dish on a hot summer day. Thanks for the memory!!
