Heya, Happy Monday (oxymoron much?) ~
I did see Snowpiercer and thought it was pretty good. If you want to dive deep into one Korean sensibility, see Old Boy. If you're not a fan of over-the-top violence and self-torture, avoid it. Everything about that movie is pretty much the opposite of what I like, but it's weirdly affecting. Go figure. Of course, there's an American remake. Without having seen it, I would bet my next six paychecks the only thing they get right is the violence.
Umami, I broke out the Fitbit and walked yesterday, first time in days and days. Okay, weeks. Thanks for the support vibe!
Onward and upward ~

Heya!
So I went to Grandma and really loved it. I also want a tattoo - I don't have a single one! It's surprising I haven't been detained by Homeland Security for this breach.
How's your fall?
Umami, I need some kind of Rah Rah / support group / motivation, etc. I might write an actual self-revelatory friggin blog!!! I wish I were more anonymous, though...
(maybe I should get rid of this name and start over a nonny mouse-ly. You and Jane Doe and HippiChick and I will have a secret handshake...).
oh dear, PS..I just realized the irony of talking about wanting weight loss support on a WEIGHT LOSS SUPPORT SITE!! Well, I still feel that buying books on exercise should count as aerobics. I may have work to do.

Resist the tattoo! Or else come visit me and we'll combine some ill-advised tequila with horribly-advised tramp stamps! I am not too old to create some new regrets, by God!
I think I'll wait for Grandma on video, based on your report. I've heard good things about Black Mass and Pawn Sacrifice. And my students are telling me Scorch Trials is "dope".

Thank you for the apple! We do have lots of apples up here and some are fun to say, like Bisbee, Pippin and Beautiful Arcade ~:-)
Have a fine Sunday.
Hey, are you going to see Black Mass? Will you be taking the kids to Scorch Trials? The first one was grim, but my high schoolers loved it.
Cheers!

Thanks for the balloons. You know, it's been so long since I've lost a significant amount of weight that I forget what actually got me here. It was def. easier I am being vigilant, I am listening to my body, but because I have been on a plateau for so many years and not very happy about it I decided to try and move forward from that place and get back to working on that last 25-30 lbs. And suddenly I gained weight. You may look at it as "only" 5 lbs, but last August I was down to 160. This morning 170. That just looks like trouble to me and I'm worried that it will just keep climbing. But worrying never did anyone any good so I shall go out for my walk and burn 400 calories instead.
