I'm a brainy bibliophile lucky to have married a Geek with great hair. I have two kids and three formerly stray cats, and every one of us has our own computer. Or litter box.

What a pretty page! Love those leaves. :-D
Yes, men and ladders aren't a good combo. Men with a partner helping them work is a better idea, but when you have a man who is used to doing everything on his own...
The thing is he took every precaution but one. He forgot to tie the ladder to the tree trunk.

Hey, PS. What I did to relax over the weekend, besides sleep in and avoid chores, was watch Laura - Gene Tierney and Dana Andrews. I think it's from 1944...? Big recommend! I imagine you've already seen it, but it's still great on a repeat viewing ~

Heya, Happy Monday (oxymoron much?) ~
I did see Snowpiercer and thought it was pretty good. If you want to dive deep into one Korean sensibility, see Old Boy. If you're not a fan of over-the-top violence and self-torture, avoid it. Everything about that movie is pretty much the opposite of what I like, but it's weirdly affecting. Go figure. Of course, there's an American remake. Without having seen it, I would bet my next six paychecks the only thing they get right is the violence.
Umami, I broke out the Fitbit and walked yesterday, first time in days and days. Okay, weeks. Thanks for the support vibe!
Onward and upward ~

Heya!
So I went to Grandma and really loved it. I also want a tattoo - I don't have a single one! It's surprising I haven't been detained by Homeland Security for this breach.
How's your fall?
Umami, I need some kind of Rah Rah / support group / motivation, etc. I might write an actual self-revelatory friggin blog!!! I wish I were more anonymous, though...
(maybe I should get rid of this name and start over a nonny mouse-ly. You and Jane Doe and HippiChick and I will have a secret handshake...).
oh dear, PS..I just realized the irony of talking about wanting weight loss support on a WEIGHT LOSS SUPPORT SITE!! Well, I still feel that buying books on exercise should count as aerobics. I may have work to do.
