Hello all. So, I gained 80 pounds with my pregnancy 7 years ago. For the first 4 years I was ashamed and not happy with how 'fat' I had become but I didn't do anything about it. Three years ago I started making friends who were very accepting of my size and it took no time at all for my ego to be boosted and for me to be proud of my size.

I've been walking confidently and comfortable in my skin, having no hesitations of showing off my body. It's been great being super happy in my body but to be honest I am tired. I am tired of not being able to reach down and tie my shoes without huffing and puffing. I am tired of getting sick every single day. I am tired of uncomfortable airplane and roller coaster rides.

My main problem is my Dr. Pepper habit. I was taking in about 100 oz of Sonic Fountain Dr. Pepper a day. I went cold turkey and the first four days were long, dreadful, headache filled days. My second main problem was eating fast food just about every day for at least one meal, sometimes two. I do believe the Dr. Pepper habit and eating are behaviors and that I have the ability to retrain the way my thinks and change those behaviors.

I am not here to diet. I am not here to lose weight. I am here to transform my lifestyle, to eat healthy every meal, every day!

My Goals:
When written down my goals are relatively simple:

* Lose 68 lbs. Putting me at 199

* Walk 8 miles a week, making an A in my walking/jogging class I am taking in college right now

My Program:
I am starting slow and working my way up. My program's main focus right now is:

* No Dr. Pepper (CHECK, it's been almost a month)

* No fast food (CHECK, it's been almost a month)

* Walk 8 miles a week (CHECK, it's been over a month)

* While I am tracking my calories, as long as I stay away from fast food, I am not overly concerned with them (yet) because the lack of Dr. Pepper is reducing my calorie intake significantly (UPDATE: I am watching my calorie, carb, and fat intake now)

Hey, btw... next trip to getaway will be April... I am planning on the april 24-26... Wanna go? We will have our own rooms, each room has a whirlpool bath.. fully furnished kitchen, so we can cook up some great meals. And it will be right by the lake again...
