Time sure flies!!

My name is Mick. I am now 29 and my starting weight was 330 pounds (Dec 07). I just SP back a few years back and kicked butt quickly, dropping 80 pounds in 8 months.

Well, then I got back into "normal" mode. Figured ah, one bite of this wont hurt and I'll skip the gym again. Heck I've lost 80 lbs, I rock... Well everything I preached came back to bite me. I gained back 10 lbs very slowly, and then I hit the point of "Oh F*#K it mode". Quickly gained another 25 and ...

I gained back 10 lbs very slowly, and then I hit the point of "Oh F*#K it mode". Quickly gained another 25 and depression set in a bit as I saw how far I came and knew the work it took to get there and would take to get back.

I always knew I'd come back and did at least twice. I physically was on the site. I said all the right things but mentality I wasnt there. Well now I'm back. I am staulking the site, reading anything I can find about weight issues, food, success stories, etc... Look out world! I feel like I'm out for revenge. Against whom, the fat guy that has lived in my mind and throughout my body since the age of 7.

Thank you for spending the time to read my blog - I think having just put that blog together - the first time I have actually put the developing story together like that and now the penny has dropped - and I am beginning to realise what I have done!! So - I'm just a bit slow in the uptake!! LOL!!
However it has proved one thing to me that if I can do it anyone can do it and you will find that the results are way beyond your wildest dreams!!

Thanks for the comment Mick, I have joined a team biggest loser challenge with a friend at work. So, I am enjoying the last few days of nutritional "freedoms." I weigh in tomorrow night Monday 1/3. Than for the next three months it will be strict diet and exercise. Want to win at least one month to get my money back, weigh ins are every four weeks.

Thanks Mick! How are you?! I've been fine and the family is fine. Had another baby boy in October, but I'm back now. Can't wait to get to my goals though lol. I'm so looking forward to maintenance it's not even funny lol.

Thanks for the friend add. First order of business is to get my cardio back on track. Next week I will add in a pretty strict nutrition plan to take off some of the easy weight. Then Cheat!! (just once for my b day). I was asked if I intend on doing my promotion test in Jan. for TKD and really want to be ready. If all goes as planned I will start P90X the first week of Jan. I want to get my cardio going better and get through the distractions of the Holidays so I can focus on that and my promotion testing. Now the down side....I am at my highest recorded or known weight EVER! It does discourage me just a little. But I am up for the adventure!

See you around!
Ken
