Typing with 1 Finger, No Friend Adds Please

Accurately tracking my food and fitness is what keeps me maintaining my weight loss. Thanks to Sparkpeople for getting me there!

Having RA since age 6.5, and years of hospital stays and surgeries (35 operations and counting) have kept me on a weight loss roller coaster my entire adult life. I have five artificial joints, but love to work out, the higher intensity the better. I have three forms of arthritis destroying my body, but fight against every body part they damage to keep moving. That is all that stands between me and a wheelchair. My favorite fitness classes are Boxercise, Step & Zumba! My trusty elliptical keeps me moving on the days I can't get out. Winters are long and hard here and even more challenging to keep moving.
I can only type with two fingers so request you do not add me as friend as its all I can do to keep up with the great friends I already have!! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read this!

Please forgive me the long delay in greeting you after you posted your introduction at Writers. (I'm afraid I haven't been very active in the group for a few months, even though I'm supposed to be a co-leader.) When I'm staying on top of things, I like to stop by and say hello and welcome to folks who take the time to fill out our questionnaire - I really do appreciate the opportunity to get an overview of the goals of fellow writers. Tonight I'm going to be checking with a bunch of new folks in an effort to catch up. (I'm hoping to become more active again.)

I enjoyed reading your introduction. Where's your blog? Until a few months ago, we were collecting our outside-SP links to an area in the sidebar which has since been taken away by format changes.

I had to smile when I read that you feel compelled to write about your mother's life ... my own mother had one of those lives too, except it would be called the Farmer's Daughter.

Lurk as long as you need to, but feel free to jump in. There are guide threads all over the place to help you get started. I look forward to running into you on the boards. Good luck with your health and writing goals.

Tee hee! The irony is that while I'm a great researcher, I can't grow a plant of my own to save my soul, LOL!

THANK YOU for the goodie!

There was a bit of a Kant problem in places Saturday. I did not take my netting though. Never have encountered a skeeter problem . Not nearly enough moisture on this mountain...a GOOD thing emoticon
