I have five artificial joints, but love to work out, the higher intensity the better. I have three forms of arthritis destroying my body, but fight to keep moving every body part they damage. That is all that stands between me and a wheelchair. My favorite fitness classes are Boxercise, Step & Zumba! My trusty elliptical keeps me moving on the days I can't get out. Winters are long and hard here and even more challenging to keep moving.

My Goals:
To stay as fit and healthy as my body will allow me.

Getting at least 60 minutes daily of exercise. DVD's and the elliptical as well as fitness classes at the gym when I can make it.
Walking and hiking a lot! I don't drive, so I walk every where I want to go!

That's too bad about the bus system. I wouldn't ride it either if I was that close to work. But, in the frigid cold, it can be harder on you., as you know. I was up and down all night, but my total actual sleep was 10 hours 1/2-made a mistake on that, was in bed for 12 1/2 hours total. I was a bad headache-hate when I get those. I don't want to do anything!

Great to hear about your bridge success but I'm sorry the GI decided to make itself known suddenly. I was reading an article in a newspapers magazine today just on this very subject and was thinking of you and wondering how I could get a copy to you, if you'd be interested of course.
