Typing with 1 Finger, No Friend Adds Please

Accurately tracking my food and fitness is what keeps me maintaining my weight loss. Thanks to Sparkpeople for getting me there!

Having RA since age 6.5, and years of hospital stays and surgeries (35 operations and counting) have kept me on a weight loss roller coaster my entire adult life. I have five artificial joints, but love to work out, the higher intensity the better. I have three forms of arthritis destroying my body, but fight against every body part they damage to keep moving. That is all that stands between me and a wheelchair. My favorite fitness classes are Boxercise, Step & Zumba! My trusty elliptical keeps me moving on the days I can't get out. Winters are long and hard here and even more challenging to keep moving.
I can only type with two fingers so request you do not add me as friend as its all I can do to keep up with the great friends I already have!! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read this!

Thanks for you comment on my blogs. The whiplash happened many years ago when my daughter was young. Unfortunately the Docs didn't find that I had a misplaced verterbrae in the thoracic area. It took a stupid fall and a homoeopath to find it and send me off for physio. Too late though to help the muscles in my back which had, by then, adapted. I'd been in pain for years prior to physio and only have to go now when I feel there is something not quite right with my back.
Hope you are having a great weekend.

It's great that you have found a job that you enjoy and that you do so well.

Most important job I've ever done was volunteer too (those years at home as a full time mum!!)

Linda, I was in a hurry and didn't spell it right...It's called
molcajete (which is the stone dish they make it in)..It comes out of the oven baked with cheese, chicken, beef and shrimp. and then you dish it up and wrap it in tortillas. Very yummy. I didn't eat much and took my own gluten free tortillas. I didn't want the cheese to give me too much inflammation.
Thanks for asking.
Enjoy your evening.
Sallie

That was very much my reaction. Not even a portaloo? Come on! It is August - hottest month of the year, and we are spending 3 1/2 hours in a huge field with no shelter, no toilets, no nothing.

I can't believe they didn't supply a loo at your 5K. Unbelievable!
