Accurately tracking my food and fitness is what keeps me maintaining my weight loss. Thanks to Sparkpeople for getting me there!
Having RA since age 6.5, and years of hospital stays and surgeries (38 operations and counting) have kept me on a weight loss roller coaster my entire adult life. I have five artificial joints, but love to work out, the higher intensity the better. I have three forms of arthritis destroying my body, but fight to keep moving every body part they damage. That is all that stands between me and a wheelchair. My favorite fitness classes are Boxercise, Step & Zumba! My trusty elliptical keeps me moving on the days I can't get out. Winters are long and hard here and even more challenging to keep moving.
I remain on Sparkpeople to keep up with the great friends I have made!! They are my role models and supporters Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read this!

It is gorgeous and it is HOT! I try to get out to run close to sunrise when the temps are at their coolest.

Funny you should say that Linda because RETIREDGMA said exactly the same thing.

I think gold teeth would be cheaper. He has a lot of bone loss. Lower teeth would have metal backed partials. That would be partially (no pun intended) covered by dental insurance. The "best" option for the upper teeth would be 4 implants with 3 permanent partials. That is the big bucks option at over $25000. He is going to see the periodontist to see if any of the upper teeth can be saved and have partials attached. Otherwise, Plan C would be eventually a full denture on top. If he were 25, we might consider a big buck option, but at 59, he doesn't think it is worth going into debt over.

Thanks as always for your knowledgeable comment on that carbs addiction blog. (And: I think maybe I should call 'em PCs?)
