_LINDA is a SparkPeople Motivator!
Accurately tracking my food and fitness is what keeps me maintaining my weight loss. Thanks to Sparkpeople for getting me there!
Having RA since age 6.5, and years of hospital stays and surgeries (38 operations and counting) have kept me on a weight loss roller coaster my entire adult life. I have five artificial joints, but love to work out, the higher intensity the better. I have three forms of arthritis destroying my body, but fight to keep moving every body part they damage. That is all that stands between me and a wheelchair. My favorite fitness classes are Boxercise, Step & Zumba! My trusty elliptical keeps me moving on the days I can't get out. Winters are long and hard here and even more challenging to keep moving.
I remain on Sparkpeople to keep up with the great friends I have made!! They are my role models and supporters Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read this!
To stay as fit and healthy as my body will allow me.

Walking and hiking a lot! I don't drive, so I walk every where I want to go!

Linda, I am unfamiliar with housing authority. I rent, and hey, I paint everything. If the landlord wants me to paint it the awful color when I move, then that's what I will do. I am only making my cottage improve. I am sorry you have damage to your hands. That must be so difficult for you.

Thank you so much for your comment on my blog. Yes, I would really like to be like her when I grow up! It's been interesting to read other people's comments about the super seniors that they exercise with. She suggested we go on a mountain walk next time which will certainly be more challenging.
I hope this will be a good week for you - and hoping for an easing of physical challenges.

I am in good shape Linda, spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically...I am prepared. Thank you for your wonderful support my friend...She will have a special sling that will help me maneuver her around. Sitting would be very painful because I asked about the wheel chair for her...Not only sitting, but she has bilateral elbow dysplasia so it would be very hard on her elbows as well. A sling is the best choice. She has three doctors and a surgeon with a whole crew at the vet hospital that are rooting for Lucy Lou. She is quite the popular doggie being because of her sweet personality where ever she goes. So we are in good hands thank goodness. Wishing you a lovely evening dear one. fredie
