Strong is the new skinny!
I am in the last few months of my 20's, and with a dim future of poor genetics and weight related illnesses, I have decided it's time to get in better shape. I used to be active, fit, and excited about life. 6 years ago I gained an excess of 75 pounds, and now feel like I am living in someone else's body. I want to get healthy, and begin enjoying life as I used to. This is my new beginning, my new outlook, and a journey to my new body.

My Goals:
My biggest goal is to change my lifestyle habits. I want to eat healthier food in proper portions. I want to exercise on a daily basis- and I want to WANT to do it. I want to feel good again- active, aware, agile. I want to be able to really feel my breath reach every capillary in my lungs- to feel my heart pumping and pure energy coursing through my veins.
My Program:
I am currently focusing on counting calories and getting exercise. I take notes everyday, and I am learning about nutrition and how to control what I eat. I am taking it slow to start, so as to not scare myself away from the progress I have made so far.
Personal Information:
I am driven and motivated, although I have a tendency to justify bad habits. I am finally holding myself accountable for my actions (and inactions) and taking a step up to the plate to prove to myself that I am capable of finishing something I start, and also to have the body I have not been able to commit to until now.
