I'm thirty, 5'4" and from the UK.
I'm back here to help myself focus on getting my fitness back after a period of atrophy, mental and physical.
Let's do this life thing!
I'M ONLY TRACKING FITNESS AND EXERCISE!
Exercise has always been the key for me. If I'm exercising, I eat better, sleep better, have more energy, feel stronger, and just generally enjoy life more :)
Those are the goals I want to focus on and the ones I believe will keep my fit and healthy for the rest of my life, not just until I'm a certain weight, whatever that turns out to be.
I'm not tracking nutrition, my nutrition is fab, and I'm not tracking calories, it just makes me feel restricted which triggers my binge eating, and I'm not tracking weight, because I don't want to feel tied to the arbitrary numbers on the scale.
I lost lots of weight a few years ago and slowly put it all back on again because weight was my focus and when I didn't have any left to lose I couldn't find the motivation.
Hence the fitness goals ;)
My original SP profile from six years ago:
Health and well-being.
1) Hike a new mountain
2) Walk a marathon
3) Try boxing
4) Do regular yoga
5) Try martial arts
I used to run a bit. Now I'm running again.
NEW RUNNING GOALS:
1) Run 5mins non-stop
2) Run 10mins non-stop
3) Run 15mins non-stop
4) Run 20mins non-stop
5) Run another 5K non-stop
EXERCISE I DO:
Walk, road running, cross-trainer, treadmill, rowing machine, free weights, Body Combat, yoga and various at-home toning activities.
Wholegrains, fresh/roast veg, fresh/dried fruit, tofu, beans/pulses, soy milk, less gluten, more protein.
